HBP,

Yep but you have to know what you're doing because if you don't know about the tides you can easily get caught with no easy escape. There's a group that have special licenses and turn over all finds to the British museum for cataloguing and displaying.
I'll see if I can track down a link.

That was fascinating,Bill. Never imagined you could do that on the Thames.
"Wot larks, Pip!"

I'm cookin' dinner tonight: Chicken Chili and Johnny Cake.

And here's the home page of the mudlarks forum where they show some of their finds. I used to follow them religiously years ago since they've made some awesome finds.

Router sled we just built. This is used to flatten and true up or slabs. Got a 2 inch carbide surfacing bit in this baby. Gets your boards perfectly flat in no time at all !!

Good mornin to ya's.... Happy Monday !!

I had a very vivid dream last night, and I woke up with my heart beating fast, and I said out loud, "Holy crap, she asked me about Grapeshot diameters!" and then I began to briefly look for a Diameter gauge that I neither have, nor exists.

I think I've been doing to much artillery math...
