It's the group crossing a road with the striped crosswalk of nights and days. Upon closer inspection it is a funeral proccesion. John Lennon is playing god, followed by the preacher, the deceased (bare foot) and finally by who? You maybe?

Why?

Not exactly a "good" album, it has catchy tunes and is wildly popular. Most people who bought the record had no clue what so ever exactly what the Beatles were selling.
