Good morning l/afternoon all, hoping everyone is doing good. Birds are chirping out here in the central valley of California and a nice beautiful cool day out. Time to do some more yard work and change out tadpoles water that I rescued over 300 of the buggers all doing well and many almost fully toads now.

We need more frogs in the world. I tip my hat to you for your unselfish deed of getting them through to this stage.
Wonder if there's a grant in CA. for toad support, like really 300 dependants is a lot of care.
I'm sure there's one buried just waiting to be handed out.

Lol I felt terrible their puddles dried up after the huge storms and they were just stuck in mud in masses so I couldn't just leave them to suffer. Couldn't save them all tons of puddles that dried up and piles of thousands of them dead. I did what I could. These will be in the yard which we keep green and healthy.

That happens here in Florida too. I've brought several home over the years. Big decline in frogs & toads here in Florida & world wide.

Funny thing, we were sitting outside our room with a Tnetter I know personally and talking about Tampa Bay treasures and he says "I want meet a guy who's supposed to be here named Gulf Coast Pirate!" I never seen someone look so disappointed in my life when I said that's me!!
