Big Hollywood machinations for me....im still skeptical of this TV entertainment/treasure deal, but dang it's all happening and moving forward. Starting to think about the reality of what this might be like, and im excited, scared, and a bit amazed that this might actually be happening......and that we are really going to do this.....its gonna take 120% effort from me to make this complicated scenario work. So here I am standing by to see if I change from a full time fisherman, and a part time treasure hunter.......to a full time treasure hunter, and a part time fisherman. Many unforeseeable obstacles, and many unknowns, but the start of this endeavor is pretty well approved and figured out. And should be pretty exciting for viewers !!

Good morning, bamasteve. What kind of construction is it? Road construction? We just spent a week with people who are in the business of building toll booths. They’re out of Cleveland.

I’ve worked in shipyards, offshore oil and gas platforms, chemical plants, refineries, and power plants. We do fabrication and repairs on structural steel and piping systems.

Folks I knew out West kept an eye out for "desert" glass.
Colors start to rainbow on some glass when exposed to the sun for years on end in the hot sand.

If everyone (except me) could pitch in a pound of gold , we could live like royalty and have a summer place I picked out. (ARRC alone should be able to totter out in the surf with a clam rake and scratch up a few pounds easy enough.)
And we know Bart is about to score huge...
I'm setting on about a 1/4 oz. so that should cover the paperwork at least.

Should be a marina within a reasonable drive.
And a big chunk of wilderness to the West/N.W..
A friend isn't ready yet to retire in the area. But being helpful as I am showed him this place and others. We have some history in the area. And of course the wildland towards the lake appeals as part of it.

Another casualty of California snow: Ranchers are unable to reach and feed their cattle; the result is obvious. Dropping bales of hay by helicopter will help, but not enough.
