Argrgg T net is not fading... life is demanding... time is the thing many fight for these days.
Also... spring has sprung and everyone is running around doing outside stuff.
I have been busy as a squirrel at a nut convention.... and no sign its gonna let up.
Our area is screaming cheetah wheelies..... i mean non stop.
Major city life here... tons of people swarming here.... from northerners to new home owners to those rippin and runnin.
This week has been busier for me than in the last 3 years.
Next week will be busier.
Who knows what the following week holds.
Not to mention all the projects that are on hold awaiting attention... which should be donr but there is ZERO time left each day to even think.

No joke... Florida life is crazy.... crazy.... crazy.
I agree, life gets in the way sometimes.
Things are starting up for me as well, going to a 6 day 10 hour schedule scattered between four different sights for the next couple of months.

No thanks... you can have it :P
No vehicles went down the dirt road while I was at the hunting property yesterday.
That's low traffic.

No stop lights going to or from lunch at a distant restaurant today.
No slow downs for traffic.

We'll get tourists soon enough.
Not very many on the back roads though.
Or on the dead end dirt road here. Neighbors son visited today. We'll call it unusual traffic.

A mourning dove hopped on a nest this afternoon while snow was melting and boo hoo'd a few times. Another presumably a mate , joined nearby . They flew off after a while but the daylight hours must be telling them it's getting near nesting time.
Robins are around as of the past couple days. Quite a flock of them in a field a ways away hint of quite a push North.
Geese pairing off and doing thier own site evaluations.
Won't be long it will be too warm again. Not that I'm not looking forward to it.

That reminds me. It’s time to turn on the porch ceiling fan or else I’ll be cleaning off bird poop for the next 6 months or so. 💩

We were just reminiscing the other day how all we used to do was buy a dozen worms and go to the river and fish and get high ( on plain ole Mary Jane. None of the fancy crap they got going on now). Life was so easy then. We had to start doing that adulting thing and it’s been snowballing ever since. It’s important that you stop and smell the roses for a day or two, or a week.

Working like that makes people old real quick. Are you in some kind of construction work?

Good morning, Bart!

Morning Dan.....a dead eye is a piece of rigging from a sailing ship. Ropes and lines were terminally fastend to these eyes. They were long iron fasteners that terminate in a loop for the line to be attached. The ones im finding are actually what's called a rigging eye. They indicate that a ship was disentagrating and breaking apart. I look for these clues scattered on the bottom until they lead me to the main wreck site !! Ill take a pic of one !!

My kid is 10 now, and I just witnessed his first date....we've been talking about going to our local fish fry for a couple weeks now. Then we thought it might be nice to invite some friends. So my son wanted to invite one particular girl, and so it really became date nite for him. He came home from school, immediately jumped in the shower, and then dressed himself, and get this......combed and put hair gel in his hair. Im pretty sure he had only one thing on his mind all day.....date night at the fish fry with his girlfriend Parker !! I asked him this morning if he had a date last night, and he said ...... ya basically Dad !!

Several reactions for this post.
Hold on Mr and Mrs blak bart! Maybe some waves, a little bumpy at times, some smooth sailing, or even some rough seas, but you’re definitely in the jet stream now.
