You are welcome. I’m glad to have a place and people to share with. If you ask me, the food was a little bit funky. I don’t care for seafood much. Lol. I tried a couple things and then the chef caught wind that I wasn’t eating and I was served chicken dishes for the rest of the week. One night we did have steak and shrimp. I gave my shrimp away.

Here’s the souvenir we purchased and had shipped back home. The Mr WD has to fix a couple of pieces because the styrofoam package sort of melted into the wood. Still beautiful though.

I went snorkeling a couple days and me and this guy were supposed to go shore diving.

Ended up on a tourist boat dive. My anxiety was through the roof. My so called dive buddy abandoned me and went on the more experienced dive. I did the giant step and swam to the guide and then I had a full blown panic attack. He took me back to the boat. Hubby was kind of mad. When everyone else was done with the dive, they took us to this little island that was a park and left me and him so the others could get their 2nd dive in. Our private island boat captain “had a feeling,” and rescued us. He took us back to the Ray caye and when the dive boat got back, the guide took me on a short, shallow shore dive. (What I was supposed to do in the first place!) When I got out of the water, hubby came up grinning from ear to ear and told me he was proud of me for getting back in the water and I was rewarded with a kiss. He said, “ I didn’t think you were ever gonna scuba dive again.”
I replied, “I didn’t think you were ever going to speak to me again.” And we both laughed.
Miserable experience!
My regular scuba buddies and I met at the dive shop last night and I relayed my story with all the details and the instructor there told me not to own any of that. He said the others should have recognized the anxieties and not pushed me beyond my limits. 🤷‍♀️ lesson learned in the school of hard knocks.
