Hard frost.
Sunshine and going to break freezing today.
Birds up high perched. A couple Cardinals I guess , singing territorial stuff. Not the long sweet charm the ladies tune.
Another specie too deeper in the woods doing similar.
Then some others on the move.
Too soon for seeking mates and defending nesting areas. Wonder if it's plain territory stuff , or bird feeder/food defense. High as they are and spread out far , maybe just territory.

That gargoyle is a decorative navigation lantern. The red glow depicts the starboard running light concealed in its mouth. Im guessing about that I'm 90% Sure that's it.
