Sorry, Pepperj. I was over excited due to digging something up other than a rusty nail. I misread the info on the link. Pics will come later, but I did find an “N” on the bottom of the bottle and pulled this from the glass bottle marks.com:

• N………………………………….Obear-Nester Glass Company, East St. Louis, Illinois (1894-1978). Although this “N” is normally seen inside a square (see entry farther down), some bottles are seen with just a plain ‘N’, such as an amber “Winstead’s Lax-Fos” bottle. The bottle in question is machine-made, and dates from sometime in the 1910s -1930s. See “N in a square” page.
