Good morning. Hurricane Nicole took my power out at 2:25am, I’m already hearing the hum of generators, but all in all fortunate not to have had any major damage. I hope!
Morning PickTime
Good to hear that things aren't too bad for you.
I was gleaming some of the news reports and phots of the coastline and some are in a mess it seems.

Hopefully you'll find some treasure coast treasure afterwards. Hang in there PickTime.

Im getting conflicting reports about conditions.....this morning on the news the reporter was in the vacant lot just south of reef ocean resort, and the tide was banging the foot of the dune, but it didn't look all that bad. Have a report of coins being found in the Melbourne area yesterday at low tide. Not sure if thats truth or rumor. This is the one, and there will be treasure found into the new year....definitely gonna road trip up. Most access is closed by the Indian river city council, and all the walk overs are gone now. Beach access will be an issue and probably turtle trail and others will be closed for awhile. May have to be dropped off and hike in from some of the not so popular access spots. Already have 3 different couches to sleep on if I want.....maybe I can hit a couple days on each couch. Im easy.....get up at dawn and hunt till dark......sleep eat repeat. Might be better up around matanzas inlet, and st.augustine......people will be getting great finds all up and down the coast !! This is the real deal on the best coastline in the u.s. for finding treasure......from every era !! Woooo hoooo !! Time for a weekend road trip.

Morning Steve
Hope the rain slicker is handy.
Not gonna need the slicker here today, sunny skies and highs in the lower 70’s. Supposed to be cooling into the 20’s for lows this weekend though.

Well certainly there's no time like the present Bart.
Time to go dig some treasures, there's reports the beach erosion is happening along the coast.
(This internet sucks-can't even view a news feed)

Looks like Daytona has some erosion-maybe a tad too much.

Mornin all.
Won the battle getting the snowblower on the tractor.

A warm day forecast (much warmer and into the sixties) for today , then winter weather starting tomorrow. (?)
Morning RC
I have always found that the things come off easier than going back on.
Always a frigging struggle.
But a snow blower, not time yet surely.
I'm just glad the warm is keeping Nichole's wet-wet instead of white.
2" forecasted for Friday.

Great morning everyone wishing you all a wonderful day.
Morning John
Time for you to dig a keeper.
Let you in on a little secret, the D2 separation for iron is way better than the D1.
Just have to wait for one of the stable hoarders of "I need that detector" to sell one off on the cheap.
Should be happening when that new Minelab hits the general folks.

Well lol rub it in why don't cha. When you know I want the D2 but broke me will never afford it lol. Though on a non kidding around note glad the D2 work well and you seem to be enjoying it. I hope one day to get my hands on one trying to land a decent ring to pay for one all it takes is one good ring. I don't like giving up my finds but to get the D2 I will.

Worth checking out? Did some research this school and church have been here forever just a couple minute walk. Church appears to have been turned into a house. School is now a charter school so I have to try to get permission for weekend hunts

Go for it, the future D2 might be hiding in the dirt.
Best of luck.
(Sorry about the rib)
But it's just too tempting sometimes. 🤣
Just kidding
Well maybe.....

I don't want to be laying in the snow wrestling that danged thing. (!)
Regular deer firearm starts Tues.. No time to be prepping for winter then.

Driver side mirror rotted on plow truck and isn't really usable. Tried it... And I need a mirror there.
Have a set of hang on towing mirrors but old one is in the way.
If I have to pull it and leave holes in the door , I might as well just replace it.
Have a new mirror coming but still haven't got the old one ready to pull. Did start on it.
Crazy. Hidden fasteners (I still haven't located #4.) Heated mirror and power adjustment wiring.
Get to tear into the door ect.. And to see how the fasteners are attached....It's not cold weather (hands) type work. At least not my hands.
Should find some mineral caulk or something to put in the socket to hold nuts to put back on or I'm probably going to drop one in the door where it can't be recovered.

More yard work left than I'll get done. But snow removal I'll have covered. ( In theory!)

Lol all good. I'm actually glad you're enjoying your well deserved D2. I'm glad I enjoy seeing your successful hunts.
