Also still looked for my aunts long lost wedding ring today. Failed again. Though I found two graduation tassels in one day. A 1972 and a 1998. Also a 1957 wheat penny. I can't find a ring but have never found a graduation tassel and land 2 in difficult spots go figure.

A necklace humbled me. No findie.
Then after ; the owner (who inspired me to hunt for it) told me she had tried finding it with a detector years earlier...L.o.l..

Let's pretend it wasn't there...

Oh I'm really liking it so far. Still need a ton of learning on it, or start to learn the inner workings of the keypad.
It's so easy to watch a video on setting-press this-then that-then this-and that-and it'll so this, or that.
Get out in the real world and I go OK turn machine off - start new - stick to the basics

We are the same Dave the Cave watches the vids… but when we get into the field, we just stick with basic program 1! 😂 xx

It's easy to get back to the basic-turn the sucker off!
Was doing something yesterday-thought it was an easy-then the next thing I know it wanted to download the newest version-say what-no!-no!-shut off-turn on-General program-all's good again.
