Yeah the scorpions are little devils lol. Was moving the sheet metal and felt something poking my palm was thinking the metal had a rough spot not little bugger was busy stinging away. Luckily I never use gloves with all the outside work I do so my hands are calloused and it couldn't sting me

Good morning pirates and piratess! I am sorry for bugging out last night. I got a call from my daughter, “Grandpa’s Okay, but….”

He is okay, but I had to go see for myself. He got into a lot of mischief yesterday. He took his electric chainsaw and cut down a Japanese maple while holding onto a branch for balance. He fell on his butt and said it took him forever to get back up. He just couldn’t wait for mr WD to get there and do it. Yes I scolded him. Also got a lashing for not having his cell phone on him. Then, he decided not to wait for me to take care of the cactus my mom planted, geez, When I was a kid! So the report was that he had needles all over his hands and some how in his mouth. Mr WD said I better go check him out. The big question was how did he get them in his mouth. Now listen, I had told him to leave the cacti alone. But, if he just couldn’t resist, don’t use your hands. Even gloves won’t keep those needles out. It is a vile plant! I told him to use tongs and then throw them away. Well, he didn’t listen. He picked one up and a whole runner came with it. He had needles all over in both hands and couldn’t touch anything. So his brilliant brain told him to pick the needles out with your teeth. OM FNG G! My daughter got a big needle out of his dentures and his tongue was hurting but neither of us could see a needle. She got what she could out of his hands. Mr WD googled and YouTube how to get them out. He had the big win last night. I will pass the trick to you all. Should you or anyone you know get in a similar predicament, put a layer of Elmers glue on the area. Dry and peel off the glue.

Anyway, the farmer is coming over and I have to pick up rocks today.

I wouldst if I couldst! It breaks my heart every time you mention the situation. I don’t know the details of the family dynamics, nor either party’s version, nor either party, really. What I know of you, well, you seem nice. Maybe I seem nice to you and others on here. But let me tell you what, you get the best of me most times. So I have been thinking. Maybe you need to reach out and just say, “Hello. How are you and your family?” If you are not up for a phone call, maybe start with sending a card? Or, just call and say you need help with something. Again, I don’t know what is going on with your family, but I do know this: they can’t read your mind. You may have to risk more heartache to realize your goals. Prayers for you 🙏🏻

For some odd reason I pick the plant-

The thought of someone trying to groom out the cactus thorn like a dog/cat grooming their fur coat.
The teeth/dentures a clicking away at warp speed, clicking away at those nasty little spikes.
Till it releases into the mouth

Oh the adventures of getting up in age-have two start child proofing WD.

Well the plan of the day:
Finish installing Victorian door on the hoop house.(door stops only)
If dry enough put clear Gorilla tape on seams. (Just about shat when the ticker price worked out at 50 cents a foot)

Be finished by noonish-go play in the PM
Been green lighted for the PM, and listen to this the brownie point tally is high enough for a green light all day hunt for tomorrow.
Not a head tilt/no lip curl/nadda
Simple OK!
Now when I think about that-it makes me uneasy-it was too easy-usually I need to throw a reason in.

Just a clear cut OK-I'll take that as I've been doing the do-need a mental therapy session in the dirt.

Now the question that has me a thunking hard, is where to go-hit old sites-roadtrip sites.

Still green as grass on the Deus 2- but it's a clear cut need to play more-as I'm digging more pouch finds out of the hard hit sites that have been dug out-less iron finds. But a hour or 2 here and there is like not getting the training of anything into the old dog's brain.
Got a few sites that have really been beat-need to see if I will defeat them totally.
Coin flip in the mind-compass reading will be fine.

Heard we lost a friend/Town Cry'r/ last night-loved the history-his heart kind of broken of late-so I'll go dig a memorial keeper-keeping him in my mind. (not many details on the reasons of passing-just hope it was a natural ending)


So mates have a great day-to all that swim aboard later on-have a good one also.
I'm off to work/play-will throw up something if photo worthy to display.
