I had posted up some links of blogs from my neighbor Dave who recently did a trek to Everest base camp.

Well he's back and gave us a couple of souvenirs of his trip. One being a picture of him with his guide at the highest point during his journey at 18,500 feet.

A piece of one of those prayer flags you see in the picture, a postcard and a calendar of Mont Everest.

You have to space out the time it takes to do the climb otherwise you'll really mess yourself up with altitude sickness.

He did good considering he's 66 years old heck a lot of people his age are using walkers or in wheel chairs.
