Nearly 800 pieces later its up.
What a finger cramping experience.
Brownie points in the jar.
There has to be a bit of limping to do yet.

Let out a whistle . Nine times out of ten it will stop them in their tracks just long enough to make the shot. :icon_thumright:
L.O.L.!

A neighbor was working in his yard wearing earbuds when I approached on my electric golf cart.
I kept trying to whistle but was missing too many important teeth!
He could hear something making a whooshing kind of sound though , eventually...

(All the more reason for a heavy duty grinder.)

A butcher bought my hay last year.
He processes 150 deer every fall.
He was commenting on how the deer come in, and he'll ask how long has it been hanging.
3-4 days they'll say.

Not properly cleaned, gut shot, dirt, $hit, pine needles, hair.
Basically shoot, half ass clean, then sit around and drink for the rest of hunt.
So he ends up just cutting the waste away, then they whine about the weight loss.
"Maybe spend a little time washing it out next time."
Around here it is common that if you want grinds or meat sticks or sausage or such that you get others deer. yeech!

A friend would have deer cutting parties after his and friends hunts up North. (Well , not really parties) and when he dropped off venison for getting hot sticks (or something) made they told him it was trimmed far more than he needed to have.
The next year we were trying not to trim odd bits as well. But it was hard to do.
Out of habit , and knowing someone was going to end up with it.

A female cousin used to work for a processor.
A couple accounts retold were inspiration to keep cutting at home!
and to continue proper field to table care..

Back to the neighbor's yard earlier.
Dug the biggest stump so far. A pine he wanted out. Had some real big roots to cut with the axe. Had to take breaks on a couple!

Dug, chopped, and pounded with the tractor, a few more smaller ones.
Exposed a good sized one cut below ground level. Just left it exposed.

Might be done playing with stumps there.
