Yes I did sleep in and missed roll call. ....It was very strange waking up to day light at 10 am! Highly unusual for me.
I normally get up with the chickens.

I made a new camp fire on the coals of the one we made yesterday. I was by myself this time, just making smoke and burning twigs on the coals. I leaned up against a rotten tree, and it moved slightly.

After 15 minutes of pushing it so it would rock back and forth, I gave on final shove, and down she went. I'm satisfied, I knocked a 20 foot dead tree over that was a foot around. So all afternoon, I've been hacking the super dry wood up, and watching it burn.

It landed on my fire, and caused an explosion of ash and burning coals to go flying everywhere. Good thing it was raining all day.

Sucks.. but I want us to keep the ship afloat... and if the reason we have lost the last ones is due to the pics and quoted pics... then bah... screw it...
