Burned a pile hot today. Great big pile o' logs, branches, limbs, heck, we sawed a tree down and threw that on there. I threw in a piece of rail, and watched it glow red hot.

I light em' by pouring lamp oil (with supervision of course, this is a family event) on a burning piece of paper. Kaboom!

I build a small fire (with a good amount of oil), then we keep adding sticks, then branches, then logs, until we have a roaring blaze the likes of the open gates of hell, then we add stuff to it throughout the day.
