may I ask you seasoned professionals a question….. we are debating our next machines, if you detect with someone else do you think to get the best results it’s a good idea to get different machines from each other? We currently “verify“ some targets for each other, mine goes deeper, his is more accurate in terms of discrimination…. With this in mind would a dues nd an garret at max be a good combo? I know it depends on a lot of factors but In theory do you think they are a good balance? TIA x

I don,t know the answer. There,s a couple forums where you might get more answers than this one.The"General Discussion" Forum.The"Metal Detecting" Forum and The"Tech Talk" Forum. Just a suggestion for you,the real metal detectors hang out there,this thread attracts mostly scurvy dogs,would be comics,:laughing7:and rejects from all the other forums!:laughing7::icon_thumleft:

I have owned all the White's Metal detectors pre 1990.
Minelab 800, explorer, SE, ETrac, CTX 3030, Deus l.
Besides that I have nothing.
But have 50+yrs on those.

I have found a 💎 stud in the intestinal tract of a Rottweiler named Gertrude.
So that was a growling experience.

Then there,s pepper,who is actually a well seasoned and experienced metal detectorist.When he,s not trying to resurrect his unsuccessful stab at being a comic.

Tbf, i did think should ask in a “proper” thread… but was worried any answers would be a tad techy for me,…. hence asking in this thread 😉 😂 x
