Found some interesting stuff while helping my family organize my house they appear to not care about the older stuff and I know my grandma had stuff from her parents so I take anything I think may be old. I'm almost positive the plain gray pottery thing has age to it no idea what it is, and the other thing not so sure if it's old but snagged it up just in case. If anyone know what the plain looking thing is/was let me know please.

A half moon type flower pot thingy is my guess.

The crockish pottery , well it's like men with ammo cans for tupperware...
Lots of uses.

One standard for many at one time was a sourdough starter that was cared for daily and looked after well. Such a crock would work.
Yes it is my imagination , but removing the bail would allow off gassing and it not mistakenly getting it's lid clamped closed.
Not that anyone would be allowed to mess with Mamma's starter in the first place...

Bury the new made handycraft, dig it up, sell it as old craft.

Now I do remember Houston TX. 98/98% humidity.
Had a job unloading tractor trailers of fiberglass insulation.
Now let's hug that Pink Panther while all sweaty hot and sticky.
40 yrs or so ago, still gives me an unpleasant thought today.
Asked for masks as the air was so thick with Fibre flying around.
Nope-you get nothing, get back to work.
Well frig you and take this opportunity to shove it up the Darkseid.
I walked, so did the rest of the day labour crew.

still paid us our traveling time and 4 hrs.
They accepted the unsafe working conditions even.
Good day it was, got some better tickets after that.
