In the S.E. part there,s still a lot like us.We haven,t been bit by wokeism or political correctness.Hunters and fishermen, self sufficient to a fault, still stand for the Anthem and the flag.We won,t bother you,but insist that you not bother us either.Push us too far,you won,t like it.Still have manners and politeness.Monticello is about 40 miles SW of me.I go there to shop at Wal-Mart often.Nice town with a small University there. A boat building outfit there,SeaArk builds boats and sends them all over the world for both civilian and Military use.In the N.W. part of the State it,s different, big business and big University towns.HQ for Wal-Mart too.Lots of goody two shoes around there.

Morning RC:hello:
It's a blowing out this morning, overcast now looking like it's going to rain.
Actually the mighty weather forecasters have a special statement about the gusts getting up there it might cause some power issues.

Saw the beaver out again this morning, seem to be really busy lately.

4 large Turkeys on the lawn yesterday morning, healthy looking hens.
Hope they stick around more this year, and hatch a few more chicks out.
Now that the neighbours rat dog has passed on, the turkeys have a better chance of surviving.

Birds and resident squirrel busy.

Got the plow truck moved last evening and charged the 1948 tractor's 6volt battery that was about half charged.
No starter cranking.... Simple wiring , cable from battery needs attention. It's not the ends of it! I didn't pull the electrical tape off two areas , on account of it getting dark as an excuse. There was a headlamp in the other truck though.

:tongue3:

Why are people getting run off, Peyton? I am fairly mouthy on here. Maybe I ramble too much. I will stay away awhile to see if that brings people back.
Your one of the reasons we're not going anywhere.
