Has anyone heard about the "Ghost of Kyviv"? It's unconfirmed, but supposedly a Ukrainian fighter pilot has shot down six Russian planes.
NEXTA@nexta_tv❗️One #Ukrainian pilot in 30 hours shot down six #Russian airplanes, including the Su-35, according to the Center for Counteracting Disinformation.

A Ukrainian pilot of a MiG-29 shot down: 2Ρ…SU-35, 1Ρ…SU-27,1Ρ…MiG-29, 2Ρ…SU-25. In the network he was called "The Ghost of Kyiv".

Russians are good soldiers, but they put their pants on just like everyone else. They can be defeated, plus a lot are conscripts, not people defending their homes. I think Putin and his Generals misjudged this one.
You are right as always brother. The civilians are taking up arms in Ukraine. Gorilla warfare is a beatch for the aggressors. Let me put this in simple perspective. Putin flocked up.

Here in California the central valley is a conservative stronghold. We farm and provide that part of the economy yet the cities vote blue and wreck us with regulations and tax the living hell out of us. Not because they care about anything but because they want to break the small guys so the huge corporations can buy us out. If you look at land maps a handful of people own most plots and slowly taking more and more. They slowly starve you out. Makes me sad my grandparents came from nothing and worked hard to gain this house build their home here and a successful life. Now it's ending, though I understand all things must come to an end but not an easy pill to follow. For awhile I had a lot of scorn for part of my family wanting to sell but I was just frustrated with the situation.
Big Agro has it's claws into everything, and it's one strong reason why we nor our group of like minded don't purchase GMO products. The "Patent Infringement" that is backed by WTO.
We have read that the final plan is where even growing your own food will be against the law.
I really hope that I am gone from this planet before I can't enjoy my own plants.

Legality

While saving seed and even exchanging seed with other farmers for biodiversity purposes has been a traditional practice, these practices have become illegal for the plant varieties that are patented or otherwise owned by some entity (often a corporation). Under Article 28 of the World Trade Organization (WTO) Agreement on Trade-Related Aspects of Intellectual Property Rights (the TRIPS Agreement), "planting, harvesting, saving, re-planting, and exchanging seeds of patented plants, or of plants containing patented cells and genes, constitutes use" and can in some cases be prohibited by the intellectual property laws of WTO Members.

Significantly, farmers in developing countries are particularly affected by prohibitions on seed saving. There are some protections for re-use, called "farmer's privilege", in the 1991 International Union for the Protection of New Varieties of Plants (UPOV Convention), but seed exchange remains prohibited.

United States

Originally the farmer's privilege to save seeds to grow subsequent crops was considered protected by the Plant Variety Protection Act of 1970. American farmers, it was thought, could sell seed up to the amount saved for replanting their own acreage.

That view came to an end in the latter part of the 20th century and early part of the 21st century, with changes in technology and law. First, in 1981 Diamond v. Chakrabarty established that companies may obtain patents for life-formsβ€”originally genetically engineered unicellular bacteria. In 2002 J.E.M. Ag Supply v. Pioneer established that valid utility patents could be issued on sexually reproduced plants, such as seed crops (e.g., corn). In 2013 Bowman v. Monsanto Co. established that it was patent infringement for farmers to save crop seeds (soybeans in that case) and grow subsequent crops from them, if the seeds or plants were patented. Seed corporations are able to earn massive profits from this control over commercial seed supplies, and consequently further loss of control has been taken from US farmers over their farm production process.

I shouldn't armchair......
But wonder if the slow and tentative approach is in part due to looking to flush folks out of Ukraine. Too have less mouths to feed and up the extraction of grain ect. from farming.
Problem being , the trend of poor agriculture following invasions has a poor track record.

WW1 Mennonites that were previously recognized (and encouraged to immigrate) for agricultural sucess in Ukraine , went through hell.
A cautionary tale.
And who had they replaced when they immigrated into Russia?
