That's why T-net has a politics section, to keep most of it there.
 

Another 1.5 hrs before the 23lb buzzard is cooked. Did some more trim and painting in the man cave room. It now needs some shelving for displays, glass for the cabinet. Little TLC and I can start unpacking some little treasures.
Soon I will start in another section of the house. Where ever the urge takes me, I'll go.
45 mph winds, and we did get the snow that they forecasted yesterday.
Snow helped the ice, but still not going to plow till it sticks a bit more.

Even with the cleats it seems more slippery now. Maybe the snow is a buffer and the traction isn't digging in.
What ever it is the Max did a belly flop last night, not liking that maneuver.
Looks like we have another 8 days before the pressure cycle starts up for the sap and maple syrup.

Real Maple Surple! On hot pancakes,with blueberries. YUM!

Going to have to see if time allows a batch or 2 this year. Long days and lots of work to do a batch up. Need about 65 gallons sap to start a boil up, then it's a 40-1 ratio.

Tomorrow will tell if there's anything worth remembering.

Eased into our road on the slope from main road yesterday and tried to stop to check the mail and slid. And slid. About four feet and too close (inches away from) to a tree I didn't want to stop against.
Then the smooth polished ice under the three or so inches.
One hand was stiff from gripping the crutches with a death grip after getting back from the mailbox.
Slip. Slip . Slip.

I crashed hooking the golfcart to the charger out front of the house.
Foot takes snow with it and acts as lube on the ice.

A few hours with a push broom and we could host part of the winter Olympics. (For a small fee of course.)

Some 20 years back I started saving little .gif's and emoji's that I liked,
and now have instant access to something that fits most any situation.

Have a few turd options....
