Jim, That's what the booster is for the omicron variant wasn't around at that time. The medical professionals like us are dealing with a moving target.

Kind of like for hunters are not guaranteed you're going to hit the target bang on. Or the same analogy applies to metal detecting we have banner outings and other times we get skunked.
The ethically of the booster is 10 weeks. (Quoted by health officals)
Will that drive the worse effects down, 2.5 months spring will be knocking at the door.
Sap will be flowing, folks are outdoors, numbers will be going down, they'll be handing out the 🥇🥈🥉awards to themselves for toting the script.
But the truth is...folks are outdoors, numbers will be down again-same old-same old.

Good morning Rook and ARC.

Bill, I had my booster shot last week, without any side affect issues.

Jim, your 'scaring the chickens experience' has inspired me to make chicken legs and salad for dinner. :laughing7:

WD, happy to hear your daughter checked out ok. I'd be saving that fishing lure as a momento, the car... not so much, it looks like a write-off.

Rusty, I use to have your kind of courage when I was 19 too... but as you get older this fades along with your short term memory. :tongue3:
I resemble that remark!
I forget to be brave all the time anymore! :angel12:

Just living in a rural state right now doesn’t necessarily protect anyone taking precautions from getting sick. I’ve had two Pfizer shots and a flu shot. Im undecided about the booster because there will have to be another after that and so on. No one knows from here what variant will be next.
I know people working at my gas station for instance that haven’t gotten one jab and they never get sick. Never. I’m beginning to believe natural immunity is just as good as say 3 jabs of an experimental shot that the companies take no liability for.

I guess somethings never really change.
Fashion, colour schemes, music, vinyl, the list goes on and on.

Yet there's seems to be a few old things we need to remember.

"Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it!"

Many are saying...
The similarities of the past are rearing up again, different colour, shape, but oh so the same-that is the scary part.

Then there will be the 6th.... and 7th... and 8th... and then the 9th.... and then the....

Like getting new Versions of Windows to operate correctly.

Someone smell money ? ? ?
Of this? I *COMPLETELY* agree!
I often wonder...just what good is testing though. Means you don't have it.....at the moment of the test. :dontknow:

Living in the rural, and I know folks that haven't even washed the paws, don't/haven't done even the 6ft rule, no masks, zip, nanda, and life hasn't changed much. :dontknow:

They don't listen to the news, just the local drum beats.
So who is right?

Anyone hear any numbers on the flu? Common colds? No. There is *only* one disease in the world now! Baby! We have come a long way!!! :angel12:

Now for my daily report on the coon.
Yesterday it was doing that rigor mortis stance (like the roadside kill does)
The leg would shake/tremble/quiver in the throws of final stags of death.
Then it moved, rolled over, by the late afternoon it was moving back and forth doing the hunt for what ever its hunting for.
So this morning the old coon is walking around like a coon does.
Really this is a weird thing to see.

Here’s my story; I am half vaxed with Maderna hubby is unvaxed he is still sick feels very rough I have had symptoms but they have been very mild. he even just said to me that it looks like even being half vaxed was better than nothing. My symptoms were very mild: headache, low fever, tired for a couple days and a little body aches. I feel good today. Back at it. Now I hope I didn’t just curse myself.

Just got word from my daughter. She’s got several bruises and swelling and having a little trouble with control of her head. Sore but can move.
The day after is more sorer usually.
Problem with whiplash injuries there can be a number of things happening.
Got a sibling that has a brain issue going on.
Just because of a rear-end collision 💥.
Hope all wll be ok.
Lucky nobody was in the backseat.
