Because of the insane number of Covid cases here in Ontario, our daughter will do her university classes online at home for the month of January at least. I was able to get a full refund on her return train ticket, but I'm likely going to have to drive her 5hrs to Ottawa on Saturday to pick up a number of things that she needs in her dorm room.

While my wife was working yesterday, she found out that our province is shutting down non-essential businesses again. This now means that she'll be off work until the end of January.

One of the women my wife was working with last week, recently tested positive. Last night my wife told me that she feels like she's coming down with a cold.:crybaby2: Oh boy, here we go again with this covid crap!

Dave, Good morning. Unfortunately this covid scenerio is wearing a little thin for most of us. Good luck with the missus hoping it's just a cold.

Sorry to hear about your wife coming down with a cold. I believe you said you were both vaccinated. Hopefully they will do what is claimed and she won’t be as sick. Meanwhile, mr WD is feeling worse today. He is unvaccinated.

WD,
Good luck with hubby hoping he turns the corner shortly.

Sorry to hear that your Mrs might of been infected again.
Yesterday they said (Health Ministry/Dr) if you have a cold you have COVID, they haven't got a clue on how many have it now "just stay at home" don't get tested.
"Because there's not enough test strips. WTF-useless diaper fillers.

One big happy family again-can you sense a required isolation period coming up again?

We are both fully vaccinated WD, hoping if we both get infected with Omicron that it'll just feel like a cold. We both had the Delta strain in September and that one was terrible.

Hope your husband feels better soon. :icon_thumright:

Dave, You mentioned to Rusty about the courage of youth....that or we probably think we're invincible. I remember as a kid it the country climbing up into pine trees 75 feet or more. Today I climb up a ladder and get dizzy....:laughing7::laughing7::laughing7:

Bill, I'm happy to hear I wasn't the only one doing stupid stuff like that when I was a kid.

Thanks Jim, I'll see how she's feeling later this morning. As you mentioned, we likely won't even bother getting her tested this time, as we all know what it is anyway. 🤧

I have a flight booked for Las Vegas at the end of this month to attend our Dealer Conference, I'm now debating if I even should be going? :icon_scratch:

Where would she get tested in the first place?
My Mrs said they have outlets in the local malls set up $70 for the free test-see there's something wrong with this diaper filled mess.
It's all got to do with the $$$-the one profiting are the string pullers it seems.

The leader of this fine province said it could very well be 100K+ a day counts.

Here I'll change that one for you
"I'm debating whether I will be allowed to go"

Morning RTR

:dontknow::dontknow::dontknow: They stopped reporting/releasing the stats when it hit the 80/20% of infection rates.
But get that bonus jab-as it will stop you from getting sick.
:icon_scratch::icon_scratch::icon_scratch: 80% that have had the jab have the virus-and.......if a pile of cow dung could be piled higher I'm damn sure that Edmond Hillary and Tenzing Norqay would want to conquer it as well.

You all might as well stand in line to get booster shot...

and then after you get it...

just go get back in line...

Then get ready while in line to repeat.
There is talk of a FIFTH booster shot ,really :(
