They've been a great permission, though it's getting a tad beat.
The handle has a brown Linseed oil Beeswax treatment applied to it, leaves a real nice water resistant coating.

I want no more of those black coal things.... they taste horrible... worst cookie i have ever had.

He needs to talk with whoever is making those cookies.... there is some lack of quality control... it needs addressing.

BUT...

More pressing an issue is...

the fact that for almost thirty years of sitting on his lap in the middle of the mall and asking for a bottle of the best Rum for Christmas and never getting one and only these black cookies in some dirty ole sock has got to change.

I think he doesn't speak English that well or something.

Well the bell will be dropped off to my permission.
The lady of the farm was a school teacher and the one room school sat across from there home.
So the bell will be home again, passed to the family that will care for it from tomorrow on.

Thank you-and Thank you for your suggestion as well when i first posted the query up.
I tend not to fuss over things sometimes, but your suggestion did inspire me to try a little harder.
So you're a pirate influencer of sorts.
Hope that Mr WD is on the spoil you rotten version of Xmas this year-at least get you a coffee and rum in bed treatment type morning thing hint/hint.....

I found a 4 reale....in the sliding glass door track at this estate sale clean out !! I can't say the name...but he was a famous treasure hunter with Mel fisher. Also found 2 flint lock pistols !!

Not yet....if I don't find the C.O.A. in this house ill have to track back the number put on the bar by the fishers and get a new C.O.A. made....this will hasten the sale. Trying to get it to my treasure buyer for cash before someone gets it off the fleabay !!
