I had a Rhoad Island red that would do that. One day I thought I killed him because he jumped me and I grabbed a pipe swung it and accidentally cracked him in the head. Flipped upside down and twitched and the hens can and jumped on him. But came back and he was walking around all angry. Tough little basturds.

Had the big White one peck me, and from being a knee jerk reply guy, he met the size 13 boot.
Never did it again, always right respectful.
Bubbles the Trans was the puck of the roosters.
Biggest and has never pecked or strutted us.
So gentle actually, always letting the hens eat first.
These photos were in early August.
The spurs are longer now.
Was thinking of putting rubber caps on the suckers.

Yesterday picked some wild grapes along the lake and today made some sweet and sour vinegar with them. Ended up with 4-8oz bottles should go nice in salad dressings.

I wish I did like it it's used on so much, and note someone I missed up the response to the message. Just the smell of vinegar even makes my stomach turn.

Well it's got quite a bit of a sweet edge to it considering there's 2 cups of vinegar and about 2 1/2 to 3 cups of sugar.
