Got my 2nd shot of Astra Zeneca....people are afraid concerning possible blood clots my wife checked around and for men 45+ who didn't have a problem with the first shot the odds are 1 in a million of having a blood clot.

I can live with those odds.

There is a new Covid variant out there....

Transvaxite

One who identifies as having been vaccinated even though not actually been.
I've decided I'm a transvaxite. This means that I identify as having been vaccinated even though I haven't actually been. Vaccination is a spectrum and you are a bigot if you don't accept me for who I am.

Morning Rook, Bill

It's cooler this morning than it has been over the past few. The folks down the was had frost and the water in the bird bath was frozen.
Friends up in the Georgian Bay are were hit hard, even covering the plants up was a iffy for them.
It's getting to be a trend not to plant until June if the plants are sensitive in any way it seems.

I'm glad I'm a procrastinator....saves me the problem....:laughing7:

Though from tossing back a few it was always the consensus of the boys that a beer made below the 49th was like drinking a bottle of pi$$ water. :laughing7:

While Americans used the alcohol-by-weight (ABW) technique, Canadians used the alcohol-by-volume (ABV) method. ... Because of differences in labelling, Canadianbrews (measured in ABV) appeared to be more potent than American beers. Canadian Beer is still stronger. Today, most American beers also use the ABV method.

MONTREAL, Sept. 1st, 2016 As part of its 5[SUP]th[/SUP] anniversary, Brasseurs du Monde is launching 25˚. With an alcohol content of 25%, this extra strong malt liquor will be the strongest bottled beer in Canada!

Looked out and it's pretty calm.

Wow...thats beautiful pepper !! Have a wonderful day !!

Last year the Blue Heron discovered Chipmunks at the feeder was a tasty and easy food source.
It seems that genetics work right in the nature as this year the Chipmunks are in tune to what this standing statue is all about. :laughing7:

Broke the shear bolt in the post hole augur the other day from hitting a rock at the 18" level.
What a pain to get the sucker out, drilled, hammered, banged, sore, cursed.......:BangHead:
Tried to separate the spline and the augur wrapped a chain around the truck hitch, all that did was lift the rear of the truck up.
So tied the 20' chain around the upper throat-to the hitch-did the Tundra pull. :icon_thumright::icon_thumleft:

Finally got it back in business to keep drilling holes. 98 more to go.....:laughing7:

I pried the rock out of the side of the hole and got a little find along with the rock-a wire hook all polished up from the auger spinning on the metal.
Probably a gate/door hook from when the brickyard was operating in the mid 1800s
I'll repurpose it for something in the barn.

Jim,

Neat find....now you'll have to sift all the dirt from those auger holes looking for treasures....:laughing7::laughing7::laughing7:
