GMorn everbody, KILI radio is fun to listen to. You’ll hear traditional drumming, modern rap, Hank sr., heavy metal, glen cambell and every other you can think of, back to back to back. Sometimes no format. There is also some shows that tell stories about the turtle and the eagle, Indian fables and children’s stories. I drive threw “the Bud” when going to Rapid city or the Black hills, couple times a year.
I have floated most of the belle fouche river to the Cheyenne, the Bad and the White rivers also. It was my escape from modern living and people. It is the most unwinding and back to nature experience that I have found. Anybody want to go? I still have all the gear and thinking about makes me glow!
Have a great day!

Mornin all.

I've never eaten a bullhead that tasted off or suspicious.
Had a dozen catfish in a tank a while. Fed them minnows. And they were quite adapt at zapping minnows. Gulp!

The flesh of catfish not farm raised is pretty decent. Some exceptional. That diet thing. Farm raised , mehh. Easy to avoid if you've had different..

I love fried catfish, as long as it's wild. I will not eat farm raised fish, including tilapia.

There's a great restaurant on 192 in St. Cloud called The Catfish Place. Best fried catfish and hushpuppies I ever had. And they get their catfish fresh caught daily from Lake Okeechobee.

Anybody seen MsBeeps?

There's a couple we know who own a country home in NY state right at the Canadian border. They have a damed stream that runs through the property which created a lake.

The previous owner stocked it with catfish and bass and even built a smokehouse because he was planning on selling the smoked catfish.

Apparently there's a big demand for it.

I read the other day...I don't remember where... the cribbage board was first used by sailors ... They just drilled the holes in the ship where they played. I thought this was really neat and could easily see this happening, being an avid cribbage player myself.

I’ve played the dice game, ship-captain-crew at the Chateau in Ft. Pierre. I learned how to add playing cribbage using license plates. We still play it when ever traveling by car.

Good morning RCT:coffee2::hello2:
