You use what you got....

For supper
16 oz. bowl of Cheerios with frozen home grown blueberries on top.:laughing7:
That’s is best I can do till tomorrow. We’re in for a winter storm till Monday.Got

Friday is Pizza, with extra thin slices of short rib, black Kalamata olives, thinly slice Portobello mushroom, 8 sm slices and the regular side salad & 2 sunny side up eggs..

Jim,

Quite the supper that should keep you going until morning....:laughing7::laughing7::laughing7:

For desert I had 4 home made candy's.
Haskaps/blueberries simmered down to a jam, then add a 1/4lb of organic butter, sea salt, heaping tbs. of fresh ginger, non alcohol vanilla extract, 250ml of maple syrup. Now after adding all that to the berries it takes about 2 hrs to bring it up to 300F..separate the Ghee. Then put it silicone molds with a pecans, walnuts, cashews, even hemp seed. They go into the freezer, and eaten cold. The sort of melt, and become chewy in the mouth.

You'll know you're getting close to being hired when they knock on the house door to enter , and then peek in your underwear drawer...
RC, I already feel that I’ve given the insurance broker and my potential employer too much of our personal information… what’s next, a cavity search. :laughing7:

Anti they are just covering their Arses, in case in the future anything goes south. I say we are entitled to the same info on them! Wouldn't that be an eye opener!
I completely agree MsBB.
I firmly believe this will work out in the end, but I do need to keep my options open in case Somero gets to the point where just say, “this is just too much trouble, we’ll keep servicing Canada from the US for now.”

Hello Everybody! I hope you all are good and well! This last week has been nasty for weather, we are averaging -34 C temps with windchills making the temp -48 to -50 C.
The weather explains my absence as I am also on shift, long days and nights trying to keep pumpjacks and gas wells thawed and flowing. The good thing is that it warms up dramatically on Monday.
I stopped in at the plant here to grab some parts, check my email and say hi!
Take care! Stay warm!!
I’ve been watching The Weather Network and couldn’t get over how cold the daytime temps were in Edmonton this past week. I don’t think you ever get used to working outside in -40c temps. I was working in Timmins, ON a few years ago, it was 5am and I had a 6hr. drive to Sault Ste Marie. It was -40c outside in the middle of January and I remember trying to hook up the lighting and chains to my trailer. I had to take my gloves off to get the chain latches unfrozen and the stinging pain from the cold on my bare skin is something I’ll never forget. Keep warm and safe out there buddy.:icon_thumright:

++++++++++Wanna Rib Eye recipe that tastes like it was cooked outside.+++++++++
1) pull the meat from frig 2-3 hrs. before cooking (get it to room temp) meanwhile.
2) marinate in EVO ,diced fresh garlic, coarse black pepper, and ground coffee grinds.
3) Place 12" cast iron pan in oven.
4) pre heat oven to 375 degrees for 15 minutes, then.
5) cook rib eye 10 minutes total time (turning once 1/2 way thru cooking time.
6) ...And done...(for rare)
That steak looks amazing Roger! :occasion14:
Your marinade using garlic and coffee grinds together is an interesting idea, I just may have to try that.
