Hello bill...hello Jim. Guess that Canadian air is drifting as far south as the keys.....supposed to get colder and colder all day long.

So Bill did you make up a chicken stock/soup from the bones/skin of the latest roaster?

Morning bill
Do you guys have snow today?

GMorn all. MsBeep heartburn much?
I have a Willy story. In about ‘87 I was in college at U of WYO. I played football and had access to the locker room and so on, back door to the BB arena where concert was to be held. University sponsored event only needed Student ID to get in. I had this poster of him smoking a J at the White House, I just knew if I went in back way I would find him and make my own memory. So I had a blunt of all blunts rolled and ready, sure enough made my way in and could smell the aroma of the left handed lucky strong, got in and there were probably 20-30 fans that beat me to the party. We all carried on like it was private event and had a great night. I would see some of them around campus over the next few years and it was always big fun to recall. A few years ago I heard a radio show talking about run ins with famous people and really had a good laugh when I realized that about a third of the population of the USA has smoked one with Willy. I’m not the only one? Have a great day....

Jim,

Yep roasted the chicken bones, skin on onions, skin on carrots and some frozen celery with some olive oil for 30 minutes at 350f well worth the effort since it adds a lot of flavour. Then into the pot for making a stock.

We'll be making a split red lentil soup much less gassy than split pea soup. Saute some onions first add in the stock with some grated carrot and some diced up left over ham. A nice hearty soup that sticks to the bones.

Won't be long pepper...I'll be honest....its been a pleasant winter so far. Had a high of 82 the other day. Water is just now really getting cold. I still have seen record numbers of boats at my gold ring spot. Talked to some of the water hunters and no one is in the water right now. Now if I could just get a day off on one of those sunny days !! Sooner or later someone will beat me to the punch if I don't seize the day soon !!

No question in my mind there's a few golds piling up at the spot !!

Sounds very familiar Bill, the Mrs throws in the red lentils all the time for a thickener for the soups.

biscuits & sausage gravy

One of my favorites. Breakfast that sticks to your ribs.

You cook breakfast and I'll fix us some nice pompano filets for supper.

I can see the head lines now. RCT Takes over Fakebook in gaint merger.

I fervently hope not!
I'm here because it is *not* fakebook!!
I wouldn't be caught, dead, on it! If this replaces that.....I will just abandon ship!

No fear my dears... No FakeBook here.

Now... onward through the fog !

That's a good thing for me Cap'n.

Maybe one day...you could actually show me 'round this ship. :icon_salut:
