THE Random Chat Thread - AKA "The RCT" - No shirt or shoes required - Open 24 / 7

For some reason, that reminds me of this one. I have adopted it as WIF's official theme song. :)

Listen to the words, especially in the beginning.

Anytime you hear it, think of me.

RTR
Can’t explain why participation lately is kinda slow but we all get busy from time to time. I’m sure it’ll pick up.

It’s always has.

Check the lock on the rum cellar. Peeps hasn’t checked in today.:laughing7:

Glad work is done for the day. My boss is an ass!
( I'm self employed..)

In /92 I looked in the mirror and said "Your Fired"
In/94 I looked in the mirror and said "Your Hired"
In/07 I looked in the mirror and said "Your Retired"
The perks of being your own boss.

Probably the toughest boss most of us have during our working years is ourselves.

Even though I worked for a company I used to kick myself in the butt for not always getting it right.

Luckily I had more street smarts than 90% of my coworkers which kept me in the game until retirement.:laughing7::laughing7::laughing7:

Just chilling out and sipping on a stout beer I made from a kit great stuff and just a fraction of the cost of a Guinness.

Close the door, put out the light
You know they won't be home tonight
The snow falls hard and don't you know
The winds of Thor are blowing cold

They're wearing steel that's bright and true
They carry news that must get through
They choose the path where no one goes
They hold no quarter, they hold no quarter

Walking side by side with death
The devil mocks their every step
The snow drives back the foot that's slow
The dogs of doom are howling more

They carry news that must get through
To build a dream for me and you
They choose the path where no one goes
They hold no quarter, they ask no quarter

They hold no quarter
They ask no quarter
Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, they ask no quarter
They give no quarter

I looked in the mirror and said,
"You're fired!"

He looked back and said,
"You can't fire me I give you my two week notice, retroactive ......two weeks and a day. "
:tongue3:
