our besties, the ones celebrating their anniversary, built a barn on the 10 acre lot next to ours (same old farm acreage). They still have a lot to do, but it will be a combined residence/barn. The guys did hang plastic up yesterday, and the temp got into the 70's in the future residential side. But dang! I don't do concrete floors. They will be here all weekend. So, we will be hanging out over there. Lot's of good food, trips down memory lane and rum punch. After the plastic was hung, we had celebratory shots of Tuaca. Immediately following, I renamed Tookahkah. Yuck! You guys were talking about hangovers and drinking habits. I go through phases and the past couple years it's been rum punch. I have only had a couple hangovers. Shoot, less than 10 I'm guessing my whole drinking days. I am a casual drinker. But I do like it.

My service provider decided not to provide service yesterday, and is playing now ya have It, now ya don't today!

If it's cloudy, rainy, snowy, blowy the providers have an excuse for poor service.

Funny thing is yesterday started off sunny & beautiful a little chilly. No internet!
Also, i get good tv reception on days we have snow.
 

We have been having problems with the mail lately. We got mail for the next house all down the street. Half these people will just open it or throw it away. My poor neighbor mailed 3 bills at the post office, none got there.
 

Hope this is not the new normal

My cousin was talking on FB about poor mail service in Dayton. I wouldn’t know. The problem with me is, I don’t go to the mailbox. It’s all junk anyway. [emoji2957]

Yep the junk mail gets here just fine, even mail for hubby who is not with us. But ya got to wonder about the important stuff not getting in or out. :icon_scratch: the neighbor was telling me about the "new" mailboxes now have an insert slot that grabs the mail out of your hand, and sounds like it grinds it up. ....probably a ballot counter :laughing7:
