Opening presents....looks like the rat killer speedy did quite well with cat toys and catnip. My son is maneuvering his new remote controlled crane...and I'm looking to install our new doorbell cam. Soon ill be testing out my new skorp....thats a wood carving tool. Its also blowing 20 here and cold. The drizzling rain would be snow anywhere else. I ate so much food at Christmas eve dinner that I've had an upset stomach all morning. Hopeing a couple Christmas pancakes will help. Merry Christmas to all and especially those who are alone like whadi...merry Christmas buddy.

Yep I often get minus 30 or more celsius especially with the windchill along the lake. That's a bit cold for us old types.....

Was just commenting to the Mrs about an invite I used to get from a fellow that used to do the fireworks display on New Years Eve at Niagara Falls.

"Jim you have to come down to the base camp at the bottom of the falls-it's awesome to see that we can knock ice off the falls with the concussion from the mortar blasts!"

Year after year I would look at the outside temps -25-30C with a windchill on top-look at the Mrs-and we'd shack our heads in agreement and go cuddle on the couch watching the tube.

Dive platform on the boat is slowly being torn off by the big seas, and the coffee machine hit the floor and blew apart. Its rough out there.

Well I tracked down the chart for the length of the days in Montreal for December turns out the earliest sunset was 4:10pm and today it's 4:19pm so the days are getting longer.
