Well it would take a certain class permit to even own that one up here. 730fsp out of the box for the .30cal seems pretty good as the most we're "allowed" is under the 500fps capacity before the it's in a different class.

Now take and play with the setting and it becomes a .950+fps and being .22 cal. it'll drop most vermin.

Wow sorry to hear that

I used to fish there in the 90's....I would sleep in the fort on the cold windy nights. We would anchor and base our fishing operation out of the fort. 8-10 days at the fort and then a week at home, then repeat. Did that from 91-95. We would fish 32 miles of sword fish longline gear. Over the years I found and carried away many treasures. I just found the numbers for 18 wreck sites all 18-19th century. It was the wild west back then and there were no rules.....if it blew and we couldn't fish we would hold 4 day raging parties at the fort. My how times have changed !! Now every movement is planned and monitored by the park rangers. I will try and film a beautiful site complete with bronze cannons and a field of olive jars on the bottom. That may or may not happen as the primary goal is fishing. The weather is very unpredictable this time of year and diving conditions are rarely clear in the winter blows. Ill cross my fingers and prey for one of those 100 ft vis. Winter days !!
Big Brother is watching now.

I had a nice piece of grilled swordfish two nights ago. It was good because I still remember it.

Hola MsBeeps and everybody else.

I eat a lot of fish. At least four or five times a week.

The bluefish just started running here. My favorite is a nice fresh broiled bluefish filet.

Evidence:

I had my thermostat set to 60°F.
Felt plenty warm enough so, to save money? I turned off the heater. Within seconds? The temperature raised up to 64! I turned the heater back on. Took a few minutes but the temp went right back down to 60! I repeated this *THREE* times!

Right!......"*SMART*" meters!! Gonna *improve* our lives!!! Right Siri !?!? :BangHead:

Sounds like your heater is on the blink.
OR...
IF its central heat and air... your air in the attic is cold so it will cool all the ductwork and hence when turning heater on it blows cold air into house until the heat begins to take over.

Mornin all!

Snow coming again tonight.
I'll have to quit stalling and put the plow on..
Need to make a run for a certain type, special, pain to find in stock at two different places lately dog food for some special cases that need it too...

Wood decking snapping and popping in the cold. More so when I roll on it with the chair.
A few of the dogs are scared of it now...

Our deck does that. Sometimes it is so loud that I am amazed it’s still attached to the house.

Anyone, who is outside long enough, will have a 'Red neck':tongue3:

I am sitting in a parking lot waiting for the nurse to call me in for the test that I have a 3:30 appointment for. Geesh!

Big brother has been 'watching' for at least 10 years now.

Geez I've been retired since /06, had customers that wouldn't even say good day unless the battery was out of the cell phones.

The problem is they listen too well when tracking bad guys, and they start picking up regular folks talking-that's a no-no up here.
Bad guy gets a free out of jail card because the snoopers got too noisy.
Been a few high profile cases for the underworld get tossed for that very reason.

Because of its fattiness, bluefish goes rancid rapidly, so it is generally not found far from its fisheries, but where it is available, it is often inexpensive. It must be refrigerated and consumed soon after purchase; some recipes call for keeping it in vinegar and wine before cooking, in vina d'alhos or en escabeche. By the same token, it is high in omega-3 fatty acids, but also in mercury and PCBs, containing the high level of about 0.4 ppm of mercury on average, comparable to albacore tuna or Spanish mackerel. For that reason, the U.S. FDA recommends that young children and women of childbearing age consume no more than one serving per week (a serving size is about 4 ounces uncooked for an adult, 2 ounces for children ages 4–7 years, 3 ounces for children ages 8–10 years, and 4 ounces for children 11 years and older).

Does that make any sense to you Boatlode?

Walleye is only supposed to be eaten once a week, also, because of the mercury.

WD I hope your test is neg and the wait time is quicker than my neighbors. She had to park in line behind the 40 cars there ahead of her at 5 am and the test site doesn't open till 7:30-8am depending how fast they get set up.
She now gets to do this again, once a week for the next two weeks. Because some one at work on the first floor tested pos. And she works on the 4 th floor.
