I had mentioned I was planning on doing some sauerkraut today. Well the missus sliced up a good sized cabbage then I added about 2 1/2% salt by weight and gave it several massages to bring out the liquid.

I'll be switching it over to a 2 quart fermenter shortly. The 2nd cabbage gets done tomorrow.

ARC,

I could be off here but one of our neighbors had a 43' footer and he had told me it's was costing him $100 per hour to run at a decent speed. That was quite a few years ago though.

My friend had an old 40' trawler that got 3 gallons to the hour. At eight knots. That's just sipping the diesel compared to another friends 40' planing hull running twin 300hp catipilar diesels burning some 25 gallons an hour.

wif,

The trick is you look at the shoreline and not the waves....I've been in some pretty heavy waves and it doesn't bother me others get seasick.

Ack! :tard:

That anchor I located is not a W-C. In fact I can't find any marks on it at all. But it is a nice kedge anchor, 24" stock and shank and 16" tip to tip of fluke. Maybe 12lbs. $40.

I'm keeping it.

What anchor ?

Morning ARC, Rook
