Time for some tar....I mean coffee !!

Morning DAVE, WD and RR

Mornin all!

News flash.
Authorities near Toronto have uncovered an alleged plot by the Bermuda gang to hang empty beer cans on citizens snowmen.
A vast quantity of empty cans have been recovered.
A prosecutor asked if charges would be filed said the case is still underway , but that so far no other evidence of the alleged plotting has been proven.
"If you see these men in your yard " (the prosecutor is quoted as saying) " do not approach them. Call the authorities immediately.
We believe the lack of snow thwarted their timing. Forensics in collaboration with the Transit Commission are testing samples of cans found near a bus terminal.
Some duct tape has also been recovered".
A transit commission representative who declined being named stated , "we can't have a beer can taped to a bus. It would decrease fuel efficiency drastically..
Also ,any adds depicting beer must be flush with the surface of the bus".

Asked if the gang had even paid for advertising the rep stated , "No , but there has been a contention with them over long term transit subscriptions and costs, (these folks seldom drive ,and we support that, due to their often near , inebriated state) and they have insisted the long term expenses they have incurred in using our transportation entitles them to painting a pair of Bermuda shorts on the bus used for pub crawls. Or ,previously used for pub crawls. With pubs restricted in use today ,the gangs near sobriety is suspect in their becoming embolden and acting out.
To repeat what the prosecutor said , if you see these men in your yard , do not approach them. Ring up a constable".

And now to the weather.
Snow is predicted between now and January!
Everyone should prepare now.
Hats , mittens , coal, carrots, scarves , brooms , and sticks for snowfolks arms are expected to be in short supply before the snow is five foot deep.

I never heard about this RC and I live 20 miles east of Toronto. :icon_scratch:

My first thought was, some folks have far too much time on their hands and they've obviously been isolating too long, because this is just plain crazy. :laughing7:

Funny british series about some nuts but lovely detectorists, two invisible dogs :laughing7: and a great Saxon hoard

Trailer:

At first glance, I thought you were promoting a scene from a Pirates of the Caribbean movie Tom. :icon_scratch:

I watched this series a number of years ago, these guys are great actors, they're just not great actors at metal detecting. :laughing7:

I'll probably never watch the series-though I have heard it many times from folks "Have you watched"
Just because I detect-why do I have to watch a show ( reality TV).
I'm just a person that would rather do it-than watch it in life.
Nothing like having a real life experience-instead of dreaming/wishing to have one-then if one doesn't have one-it could be setting the bar too high-then one doesn't truly enjoy the real thing.
Just my thoughts on them-probably just being too serious.....:laughing7:

Well all the best to you all for what's shaping up to be a fine weather day.
Best to those packing, detecting, exploring, fishing, gutting, cleaning, walking, enjoying what ever they enjoy.
Off to do the day-high expectations are to be made.

Same to you pepper....seize the day!!
