Well, we made it home safe and sound. I walked in the house and was hit with a stale yucky house smell. I thought it was just because it was closed up for a week and a half. After a couple hours, the smell was not getting any better. I decided to check my pumpkins and sure enough, I had a rotten one on the shelf. Yuck!

At least it wasn't a squirrel or a mouse that had died inside one of your walls.
We had that happen a few years ago with a mouse under our kitchen sink.

I've been getting that exact same feeling recently when I walk into our house.
That's when I grab the flashlight and go on a hunt for hidden Tootsie Rolls.
