No job so far, the market is definitely starting to slow down though.
I'm thinking this is due to the upcoming holiday season and because the Covid numbers are spiking again.

It might be a case of Dave getting cabin fever stuck in the house of females.

Good morning. I finally got my first deer! it was a small doe

GB1 can you fill me in on the story? Gun or bow, stand, still hunting, or stalking?

I remember my first deer about 30 years ago. Nubbin buck with a 12ga. slug from a ground blind. Ive harvested five or so more since then but usually I skip on the deer tag to hunt waterfowl. This deer season I'm going "up-nort" to the big woods to hopefully fill a tag or two. Last year I got a small ten point.

Here is a trick to get some venison without a weapon- an old man down the road from me shoots half a dozen doe a year on an agricultural permits. He is too feeble to drag them out of the swamp behind his fields so he calls me up to haul them out. Forget freezing in a tree, the old man can do that for me. And he hooks me up with couple steaks or a roast whenever I ask.

Nothing beats free-range-organic. : )

i was walking back when it jumped out of the brush in front of me it ran and stopped. I gut shot it and it ran for 20 feet and fell over. I shot it with a 257 Roberts. out of a Ruger M77 the over all distance i shot was 100 yards.

I didn't gut shoot it on purpose I threw up with the scope and fired. I shouldn't of done that but I was excited!
