Sounds like you need to get yourself a new heating pad Jim. Maybe consider ordering one online, it’ll only take a day or two to get to you and you won’t have to go into the city to get one.

We used to have nice runner carpets in our entrance hallway, but a certain little white furball has taken to relieving herself on them.
Yesterday, my job was to pull up the carpets and make a run to the Home Depot and pick up some rubber mats to put down until she gets house trained.


She’s a good girl, she’ll get it… eventually.

We don't shop online as it does support the local business community-just the way it is. Probably go without for the mean while and suck it up if the back acts up.

Gee I hope you let her out soon instead of chasing her around moping up after her.

See that why I prefer the male dog over the female as training comes easy.

We just did this out in the yard and the natural instincts kicked in.

Pepper:
I've not tried it , but rice can be used for a heating pad.
Dried rice put in a wool sock , cotton sock ,or similar that can stand a couple minutes in the microwave.
A couple cups of water in a micro safe container on the side adds moisture to the air while heating to keep the rice from scorching. (You know , stinking up the house , l.o.l..)

It does not make sense to me as I'm no medical student, but P.H. seems to affect my nerve pain on the worst nights.
An antacid seems to help.
