We'll call it fine here.
One old dog is , well..old.
Aging faster than others his age. Wobbly. bad teeth. Losing weight despite soft food diet.
Should not be sedated to fix teeth as he would not likely survive.( Not unlike us maybe...Each in turn.)
I carry him to go outside usually.
Let him snooze alot. Cover him with a soft small blanket.
Scratch behind his ears and he grunts with pleasure still.

I wonder about winter on him outside on potty breaks though.
This a dog I used to have to go find when he would dig under the fence and go hunting. Weather or temps or hours of activity be danged!

Thanks very much for everyone for your concern regarding my Shingles

Things should be back to normal (whatever normal is) for us tomorrow.
I'm just washing all our bedding and the comforter, so my wife doesn't get what I've got.

Our new puppy moves upstairs to sleep in our room tonight for the first time as well.

Got back to this site this morning and in 1.5hrs I found nothing non-ferrous.
Here's where the house originally stood... I understand someone hit it years before me.
I have an old site and a new site lined up to investigate on Sunday morning.
Very mild November weather here in the east, currently 65F and sunny, great detecting weather.

Her name is Oakley and she's a very smart dog at only 8 weeks of age.
I can hardly wait to see what she's like when she's 1-year-old.

Thanks Rook, she's gotten over her shyness and has settled in nicely.
We're feeding her an 'all natural' dry duck meat food, she loves it but makes her breath really stinky.
She's also taken a liking to sleeping in a cubby-hole of my desk next to where I work.
