I walked over the first past and it was like detecting a 6" rough plow.

Hi Bill, unfortunately I found nothing at two sites I visited.
I located the foundation of the site on the map in the woods, but it had obviously been used as a dumping ground for everybody and their brother over the past 100 years.

I might give it another shot in November when the foliage has died down.
I did get a nice pic of the sunrise before I headed into the woods though.

It was cold this morning, like 2c when I left the house.

I was thinking the same thing Bill, but there were so many downed branches and leaves.
I'm think I need to detect more of the periphery of the site to have any hope of finding anything except aluminum cans.

Jim, the only 'trolling' I've ever done was in the night clubs in Toronto when I was in my 20s.

You also know how worms freak me out, just the thought of having to touch them makes my butt clench.
