What type of headlamp do you use Dave?

I use the light from my cell phone and the warmth of my wife's love to keep pushing me deeper into the woods in search of relics... same as you buddy!

Hold on... am I searching for relics or trying to escape life, I keep getting them mixed up. :laughing7:

I spent yesterday morning 'puppy proofing' our backyard in anticipation of our new arrival at the end of this month. :laughing7:

That made no sense really :icon_scratch:

This has been my go to headlamp for years now.

This is Fenix product for extreme expedition-type activities, boasting of a rugged aluminum housing, a maximum of 900 lumens, six modes to include a BURST and SOS mode.
( Thinking you can use the last mode buddy):laughing7:

That's a great suggestion Jim.
The only problem is the amount of begging I'd have to do to buy it at this time, just isn't worth it. :tongue3:

Morning Rook. :icon_thumleft:

Well, I'm off to search in the woods for a homestead, hopefully I'll come home with a pouch full of relics.

Hope everyone has a peaceful Sunday,
Dave

Just quit you "Timmy's" addiction for a few weeks and it's a "freebie" :headbang:

Best of luck on your hunt-may the light be with you.:)

Good luck ANTI

Well I managed to scoot away for a 3 hour hunt at a new site. The liquid manure had dried, the skies were threatening, thunder was rumbling. Got may first keeper a whizzer made from a thin 1/2 penny and the skies opened up and made haste to the truck. One swipe of the wiper blades and it stopped, good thing it didn't really get the manure activated again. So back to swinging and jumping on the shovel in the compacted heavy clay. The site is partially under corn still, and the digging will be easier there. The farmer showed up and chatted me up so the hunt finished early as he was discing the slope leading up to the site (but not the site :()
1-Wizzer
3 sm crotal bells intact
1-buckle
1-button (something on it-still covered in mud)
1-3 Merry Widow's tin
1-1920 sm cent
lead-pieces of different types of harmonica reeds-part of a cufflink, tack.
Over all not a bad little hunt being the first go-under a 10 minute drive so it's a easy one for a fix.
The permission is 600+ acres that borders with my older 300 acre permission so I walk freely and safely as there's no hunting.
