Good morning, Antiquarian. How was your hunting yesterday?

Good morning everyone!

It was a very productive day WD, thanks for asking, I finally found a site that I've been looking for for 2 years.
Unfortunately, I only had 2hrs left to detect it because I had to get home for my wife to use our car.

I still have to clean up the finds from my last 4 days of detecting and I'd also be lying if I said that my knees weren't sore this morning after being out on fields for 7hrs.

Yesterday I found a beautiful horse rosette, an 1807 Wellington Halfpenny and an 1812 Brock Halfpenny.
I'll post up these finds later today.

Thanks so am I, I feel like I've been in a dry spell lately though.
Isn't that always the way until the fields start to open up.

I don't think I've ever asked, what type of detecting do you do?

Bart, Jim, Bill and I seem to be the only guys on ARC's thread that talk about our hunts.
