Morning everyone.
I'm going to text pepperj to find out how he's doing, he's been unusually quiet on Tnet since yesterday morning? :icon_scratch:

Just want to make sure he's alright.

Just doing the go-for routine here for 5 different crews.
Putting out little fires so to speak as they always pop up during construction.
Had 4-Jim have got some of these/to finish this/how do want to finish this at the same time?
Running full out trying to please and when the hourly rate is added up for labour, you want to have everyone a working.
Nothing gets serious just a lot of keeping it light, laughter, pocking, and taking shots. Known some of these guys for over a decade and spent a good many hours labouring on our projects with them.

Then there's the little things that make for a good story-like yesterday.
Had arranged that a guy provide a test dump truck load of old manure.
How old? "15-20yrs old" was the answer. Well the driver called and he was waiting for me to tell him where to dump.
I shot over to the field on the ATV and the dump truck was sitting there, and as I approached I got a whiff of something that all most know resembles a cow patty in smell.
Just a hint, that I should not be smelling anything.
So I question the driver-basically "he no nothing" (Knows that things aren't right)
So I climb up the side, look over the side, just barely reach the the product-well it was still cooking, kind of wet, not quite fresh out of the below the tail exit of the cow, but it wasn't no where near the age of what was stated.
So I call the owner-no answer-text him-zip. I said to the driver you call him-the guy answered.
I thought you said 15-20yrs old?-no I said 3-5yrs old-yup that's what I said Jim. Ok no problem-thanks.
I said to the driver he can take it back. Is there another way out of here?-nope.
Well my front wheels came off the ground when the drop axel hit the slope.
Lift it up-it is-well have fun getting out-and I drove away.
What a bunch of BS

Don't take me for a fool-as I have no problem throwing them under the bus-the word spreads faster than a farmer spreading it out in the fields.

There seems to be a few groups running around just doing the BS and raking up a pile of it as they go.
I went over to the excavators farm last night to discuss getting some old BS as it's black earth soil again.
Not screened yet-no problem got the first 2 loads coming over this weekend.

Morning Bart.

So I got buddy to disc the freshly plowed acre of berry patch, yesterday. (My phone was dining/ringing and I was just enjoying the company of the tractor/freshly tilled soils/and great conversation with a friend in the field. I said: "Can I just stay here?" We both started to laugh at that! :laughing7:
Looking forward to dropping the coil down onto the soils tomorrow when the crews flock off for the weekend.
The rains will compress it down to have a pretty good detecting patch.

It really puts things into perspective seeing an acre and what it will take to cover it with a coil properly.
As for years I have read statement of "Oh the site was 3-4 acres-and I hit hard today-cleaned it out" Ok this first photo is .96 of an acre now X's that by 3 or 4, nope it's flapping around like a chicken if one was to say they covered it - the second photo is 15-20 yr old BS-and sometimes we all read/hear a pile of it.

Now this pile is what yesterday's truck load should of looked like, just black loam/soil.
So getting the right product from the right folks is the best way to not be stepping in the BS from the start.

Not yet. We are expecting rain and high winds later this evening. The weather just on now said Friday will be the winds and threats for isolated tornadoes. I'm glad I had my pecan trees crowned last year. That saves a lot of the threat of downed large limbs. Been there done that before the crowning. Well be find. I've got two shelters now.

Storm winds and currents have made for some incredible beachcombing finds. Carbon fiber trick slalom water ski in the bag, brand new cressi sub mask and snorkel, an older kyak in pretty good condition, multiple seabeans, and....well....other things ill not speak about on a family friendly site. Its been red hot for us members of the "mangrove mafia". Went out after work and flipped the wrack yesterday. Guess I'll start in the fall posting what we do beachcombing....was always bummed out that there is no beachcombing forum here on t-net. Its what got me going in treasure hunting and you guys will be blown away when I start filming in the heart of the mangrove bush. I have found everything possible washed up on our shores....its truly amazing and still one of my greatest passions !! Stay tuned...i have a plan and its gonna be a wild ride. I've seen it all in these mangroves.

Yes, I turned the TV on as soon as I got up.

What!?!? You mean you don't have it on 24/7!!!?? So you can take advantage of piping it into your pillow for "sleep learning"!? Like me?

He said, blinking his rectangluarly shaped eyes. :tongue3:

Lest we forget, part of the damage to infrastructure *could* include cel towers. :dontknow:

Just saying...

But....geee! Won't that make it difficult?! Finding the "owners"? Soooo much stuff!! :tongue3:

I must admit, I at first thought this to be a close up of the Squeaker of the House Nancy Pelosi biting her lip.

Actually why do you have to go down that road to begin with? Turning my images into something political isn't even warranted.
Actually why don't you just not reply to anything I post up in the future.
Thank you.
