Good morning rook.

Morning crew.

Morning Jim.
I forgot to mention I had a phone interview with United Rentals on Monday.

It went well, but it's going to be a long interview process with a number of internal candidates also being considered. :dontknow:

Good luck with the weeding process stages. I imagine they have lots of time to consider all candidates and they can be choosy.

Man O man... I feel for those in Louisiana... This storm is almost a repeat situation of Katrina.

This is NOT a good situation... and serious devastation could occur again.

I know they have spent astronomical amounts of money to prep for this in hopes they can minimize the impact of this very situation.

Pray for them... they are gonna need it.

Morning Pepper... Rook.

Whats really crazy is...

Hurricane Katrina near peak intensity in the Gulf of Mexico on August 28.

Good morning ARC. :hello:

Yes, the interviewer was very upfront about the interview process and how they'll be looking at other potential candidates.
She did say that, "they were impressed by my sales experience with regard to managing a territory and the dealer sales reps."

But as you mentioned, there are a number of other candidates and they just might consider me too old for the position. :icon_scratch:

I'm going to meet with the National Sales Manager for Sany Canada in the next two weeks when he comes down to Ontario from Quebec.
They may potentially be looking for a Central Region Manager for Ontario & Manitoba, but the position hasn't been formally announced as yet.

Just been reading up a little about Laura and she's turning right ugly fast. When they start stating to be prepared for a tidal surge of 30 miles inland I really fell for those in the first 10 miles of of the Gulf as it's going be some serious flooding.
I hope that the 750K+ folks take this seriously and get out.
Then the question comes a begging, what are some to do?
Go into evacuation mode to where, into a secure facility, and how does that work out with physical distancing of todays world?
No thank you-I'll deal with a few rain bombs, ice/snow storms, but nothing close to what they're facing over the next 24hrs.

Yeah its going to be an UGLY situation.

First off.. This storm is going to hit at a 4-5... Katrina was a 3.

Katrina...

Fatalities
1,245–1,836 total

Damage
$125 billion (2005 USD)

Good morning ARC, Dave, Jim, Rook.

My fingers are crossed for those in the path of the storm here's hoping the get to higher group out of harm's way.

Dave,

Good luck with the interview process, however, given your long service in sales I'd shoot for the Sany manager position in your shoes.

Morning Bill.
