So...

< snip >

Since IMO... mankind's motto is "there is so much yet to be known"... And what I call "mother natures curve ball" IS reality... IS factual.

Man has tried to predict the weather since of beginnings and we have gotten reallllly good at it.... but.... like I said... this ALL stems from what we DO know... not from what we don't.

:)
:P

Wholeheartedly agree!

We "know" soooooo much!! HAH!

They can tell you, chapter & verse, explanations for *every* freakin' thing!!! Based solely on what they already know! When Mother Nature throws them a wrinkle, something new, they all say...huh! How about that!

The saying I go by? "Man plans....and GOD laughs!"

Here's to hoping for the best. Better keep praying! And for those who don't believe? When the ground shakes under your feet? I don't want to hear...."O M G!!! " :tongue3:

Oh and PS... I think Weather announcers should keep their personal opinion(s) off the air... and only report what they absolutely know.

The media has always taken the "we are just reporting the facts" stance... and do not "take sides"... as to avoid "problems" or lose viewers etc etc etc.

EXCEPT when concerning the weather... where they drop this and many if not most report an opinion(s).

This is ok when a rain shower or overall day to day things are concerned.

BUT... when you are talking about a serious... potentially life altering event... then opinions should stay out of it and only factual data be transmitted.

Nothing worse than the watchers of a bad opinion becoming complacent after hearing some opinion based on premature data or "a hunch".
Also agreed! With one caveat. Reporting facts can work ok for "news" stories. But, when attempting to *predict* the future? I kinda feel that the best that can be done *is* a guess/opinion. IMLLTHO.

After all...there are no facts about tomorrow.....yet. ;)

Morning Pepper you and the critters are doing well I hope.

Everyone is doing well-well except me and the Mrs are always at the wits end it seems trying to fit 10 things into the 5 time allowance. We keep trying-the fun of getting nothing done it seems.
But it helps when somebody says "You've done so much" Makes us feel good for a bit.

Well Pepper you both have gotten a whole lot done! It is amazing!

I have 2 rug rats incoming in about an hour, so if I fall off the ship....I'm in the kiddie pool!

Keep the mask and snorkel handy, good luck.

If Bart would throw one of those gold rings in the kiddie pool I'd dive right in!

Pepper, you look good with a pink blush.:laughing7:

In Dave's picture I missed both the me + heart just goes to prove I shouldn't make any hasty decisions before my 2nd cup of coffee....:laughing7::laughing7::laughing7:

You and me both Bill.
I kept wiping off the glasses, trying to enlarge the mini tablet screen...only to discover it is the missing second cup of coffee that is the problem!

Ok slipping off board the minions have arrived!

God bless all, have a good day, and stay safe.
I'd tell you all to stay out of trouble...but we know how "that" goes! So have fun!!!

...auto correct seems to have a problem with good & God.:icon_scratch::dontknow:

Ha ha! I chased the little booger out of the garage and into the rocks! He’ll probably sneak back in, but today he is out! Cutest little thing. About the size of a ping pong ball.

Usually I don't chase one too far, up till the first bend.
Learnt young how to catch a booger, and I have to admit few boogers ever escape.:laughing7:

Never caught a booger I always picked a booger pepper.:laughing9:

Chasing Anti and Jenny out of the picture earlier left us one potential detective. (Congrats WD!) , and a bunch of potential meteorologists...L.o.l..

Anti could have helped with better lyrics about the subject , but the music is decent...

well. got to get a MRI done for my knee. doc couldn't see anything in the x-ray. told me to stay home and rest it. I know i'm gonna go stir crazy!

Jim,

That calls for a song....

That's a cool picture and early inspirations Dave.
I remember you telling me that you wanted to be meteorologist but your head was up in the clouds over Jenny. :love4:
