Good morning ARC, rook, Jim, Bart, Rusty & Bill!

Looks like you were busy doing a lot of site investigations yesterday Jim, sounds like the weeds and the mosquitoes are bad in your area.
Hey, detecting beats doing construction work at home any day! :laughing7:

What I did see on another permission field was an 2 acre+ just disked up.
Between the corn and the new potato patch.

Right where you popped the nice token...remember?
Have detected to death out of the site-but 25yrs of no till-until they plowed and disked for spuds brought life back into the site. :hello2:

Need to do a call to see if it's planted in a late crop covering.
The soils are kind-like digging at the beach.:)
Potato's are slowy been harvested on the lower side of the site.

Morning bart, Bill, Rusty and Dave.

I found one back in 2008/9 on a beach on AMI area. I called up the funeral place and the response I got was.....Kind of when somebody looks down their nose when they talk to you.......I figured if that's the response I'll not waste my time or gas in dropping it off.
So I kept it as well-so looking back at the past decade-Ah Bart I'm thinking the fable of bad luck isn't warranted.

Jim,

We have showers in the forecast for the next 3 or 4 days....it'll be nice not having to water the garden every day for sure.

Morning Bill
Raining here now, nothing spectacular, dry still under the the big maples still but it's coming down at least.

I only try to believe in good luck !!

I think you used it as your avatar on this or the CMD site for awhile.
This one does ring a bell.

Is this a 'stay at home take it easy kinda rain day' for you Jim or are you working around your place today?

The finds have the nice patina as these two recoveries from the spud planting area.

Jim,

I like the verdigris on those old coppers well done!

Yes, the soil drainage at that site was pretty amazing.
That was the site that used to have a rail line running through it 150 years ago.

Played/worked yesterday
Chores/inside work today after a couple more :coffee2:

No need to run the roads

Busy road yesterday with folks going for a swim at the docks. Nice to hear no traffic this morning-just one car.
Yesterday there must been 12 vehicles going down to the water.
Too much invasion for my worldly peace. :laughing7:

Jim,

Good score on the old bottles!

All shards
Even the blue cobalt was frost split, repairable but I left it.
I would of liked the Pickle jar/bottle though.

It only took 5+yrs of planting the potato planting seed in the mind of the landowner before it took seed. :laughing7:
Once they harvest the spuds, then flatten it out again it'll be ripe for the detecting picking again.

I've just moved to Salt Lake City so does that make me a Mormon?....:laughing7::laughing7::laughing7:

All kidding aside kind of getting tired of all the big tech companies tracking my every move and selling the data to the highest bidder. So I signed up for a 30 day trial using a VPN that scrambles your location and my default option was Salt Lake City. So I'm giving it a whirl. Already I notice the response time is much faster now that I don't have everyone riding my coat tails.....:laughing7::laughing7::laughing7:

For $5.00 per month it appears well worth it.
