the priest map or witch map

But if there is a death trap , exist a way to recognized it .

If is a Spanish trap , outside of the entrance , should exist a carved heart broken in half by a thunder light . If the trap is situated at the entrance ( before enter the tunnel ) another thunder light shows to you where is situated the trap , up ( by falling rocks when you are attempting to open the entrance ) or down ( by a false floor ) . If the outside thunder light is horizontally showing the entrance or is not carved outside, then the trap is inside , and the light symbol would be just 2-3 feet before the trap . The inside symbol will show you where is situated the trap like if was outside .

Now , if the treasure is Jesuit , they used only mercury vapors as " traps " , but the game would change if they used an old Spanish treasure site . So , you should be aware of both styles of traps .

I believe in the stone maps case , the death trap is the trail itself .

To add at the above post .
I forgot to tell about some kind of Spanish death traps which were adopted by the Jesuits . Are the " falling wall " and the " falling roof " .
To avoid these traps , never pull a chest which looks little " under " a wall or a pillar which supports the roof . These chests are a lure and the most times when are closed , are full off rocks .
Behind these chests , the false wall or pillar are trimmed diagonally at the base and the lost part is filled with sand and small rocks which are pressed back by the chest . When you pull the chest , the sand spread away and the trap is activated .

Of course these traps could be deactivated by using modern supporting mechanisms or by using logs .

The natural traps on the way to the treasure site are many and more dangerous than these at the treasure site . Watch your steps where you are seeing or reading signs or symbols on a dangerous path or in a cave . They can lure you to a death fall .

Can you provide some examples of these? Where did you read about these types of traps?

1. Locate treasure site.
2. Send in a couple of native "helpers".
3. Death trap triggered.
4. Remove bodies and treasure.
5. Return home and spend money.

These types and all the other types , was described with many details ( sketches and mechanisms ) at the treasurehunteruniversity.com .
But this site looks inoperative at the last few years . Too sad , was a very informative site for treasure hunters .

Stay away from that site Marius, It's a phishing website!

It contains Zika and West Nile virus brought over here by the Jesuit's!

He is joking Marius. However, there is much on that site related to the Jesuits referred to, which you may find useful.

Hi Oro

I have read Mike's site long time ago ( before become a TN member ) , but his content about death traps has nothing to do with what THU site had as info . I doubt how what Mike shows in his pictures are real " falling rocks " death traps .

When the " falling rocks " trap is outside of the tunnel , then is exactly above the entrance , and to be activated , the tunnel/cave should be closed with rocks or a door . All these traps are constructed from the bottom to the top .

In the door case , the trap is activated when the door will be opened , and the rocks will fall from above exactly where the door is located .
In the rocks wall case , the trap is activated when a big part of the wall will be removed , and the rocks/boulders will slip from above the mountain side in front of the entrance .

In both cases , to " run " the trap , is used fine sand or small round gravels from the rivers bed .

I talked to Mike on two occasions. I think he may have passed on as he was real sick and dying last time I talked with him. He found his treasure off a large boulder with a shadow map on it. The treasure was high up in a small cave that you had to repel down the side of the cliff to get into. I've seen two death traps so far. One is a giant stone that has a symbol on it and you dig just below the base unleashing the sand that holds it up. A "Gotcha" trap. The other has a lightening heart above where you dig and that one brings down the whole rock crevice of boulders taking out a large party of diggers. The later is one I found from measuring distance by way of a skull monument. And, using GE as a tool for the angles and distance. I don't know about the Jesuit site of Gordon McChesney.
