The "Peralta" Stone Maps --- On Their Own

Not sure if this is natural or man made.

A case could be made that the radius was made by hitting the face side with some type of hammer resulting in the backface fracturing more. Also it looks like possible chisel lines along the face to smooth it out a little. Brush was thick around it so I did not get to close, but I did not have to climb a mountain to look at something not much bigger than a mini cooper.

Best I can come up with is how I would make it and its location, pretty much circumstantial at best since the artist (Mother Nature or Mr Smith) did not sign it. 1 or 2 guys about an hour or however long Mother Nature wanted to work on it. Made 5 years ago or 200 or maybe 3,000...................:dontknow:

Oh ya, the capybara monument. Glad to see you located it.

Since this rodent is from africa, it (the monument) ties into the whole africa conspiricy.

I hid my treasure. Damn if ill make obvious marker to the location. That was why the stone maps were made. There is a easy code on the stones and they are not as old as you may think. The code give away the time frame.

You're right Sarge, code was easy to figure out. Afraid I found your hiding place. Picture of your rock monument attached for proof; his nose points to your cache. No worries, didn't touch anything, nor did I tell Mary. I know her pink dress is lethal to you

Guess my questions are not worthy of answers :dontknow:
Somero, Yes they are, I just haven't had the time to respond to many of the questions. I have been in the field for the last 2 1/2 days. We are preparing a contract with a Canadian Mining Company, they are interested in performing a drilling program and blocking out our reserves on our Gold Spot Mining Claims.

Work then play as they say. Everyone is worthy IMHO.

Oh yes, Treasure Hunters Award Saturday night at Cobb's Restaurant in Apache Junction, AZ. (starts at or around 06:00 to 08:00 PM I believe) Rick Gwynn will give out the plaque, ring and trophy.

The following photograph pictures a heart... can you all agree to that? Now, please tell me what you can see depicted on this heart. Be honest, no wise cracks wanted. Serious answers only. My photographs begin life at 6 to 8 MB and they are reduced quite a bit to download on this site.

Let us see where this exercise takes us. Do not try to blow this image up to make it larger, it doesn't work that way.

I can see the heart, but I can not click on it to open the pic up.
Other than the heart, I see nothing with out it being a little larger.
Some thing is at the bottom where one might say the point is.

You got it all wrong! The eyes are looking in the opposite direction of the trunk, so that simply must be where the cache is! And can we all agree the number of toes is also significant? Probably the number of leagues you need to travel from the monument! Great Find! :laughing7:

Ellie,

Hope all is well with you.

Your heart is certainly there, and certainly......faint. Faint heart never........:dontknow:

It can be blown up quite easily, but doesn't get any better. The question is, always, where are the other symbols on the map and are they in the proper order and spatially correct?

Take care,

Joe

Got me

I can see the heart. On the bottom is written what appears to be DIOS. I sure wish the pic was bigger.

I will have to go back to the area where this was found and take a closer pic. It was a part of a much larger panel. I am am currently running on overdrive and things are coming at me fast. I will come back when I get an opportunity. I am not complaining, the more I have on my plate the better my brain functions. I perform well under pressure, especially when it comes to multitasking.

Gotta get ready for tonight's award dinner.

See here, I figure the Sarge for a cunning, crafty fella. He knows how to draw your eyes away from what his hand is doing. Now you see it, now you don't. I think that stare is meant to send Mary in her pretty dress down on the wrong path. You have to admit the eyes are looking one way, the trunk is pointing in the other. The trick is which is which.

Ha! The trunk pointed the right direction after all. 1 1/2 oz in three small buckets of dirt. Did a little snooping around following the stone maps. They are mining location maps using a simple code. I do think my translation is correct.

Well now, sarge, the 'proof is in the pudding' - so to speak!
If that is the result from 3 buckets of dirt - the trunk is the way to go!!

Good show (and yes, I'm envious, but happy for you!)

Sgtfda

You may wanna check his trunk, little bugger may be holding out some bigger nuggets.

Chunky Elephant Trunk Pudding :laughing7:

Of course the stone tablets lead to a mining location . The Latin heart has three mines and one cache cave .

The mines were played out years ago. The placer deposits are still good. Under the heart location it is suspected a huge deposit of something nice. You only need the stone maps. . The other stuff who knows. The stones refer to a date in the late 1800's so you can forget all that church treasure stuff. I'm not saying they were not made later. They do refer to that time period. In fact they have the date code on them.

Nothing surprises me anymore. I'm not digging to find out! There are more locations but I'm busy processing dirt. It is nice though to have the only gold coming out of the Superstitions. I suspected all along Waltz worked the same area.
