Aztreasure:
If that symbol on his forehead / headdress could be identified, we might could figure out who he was. Also, I wonder if that large face on the flat portion of the cliff to the right was his queen or priest.

Cheez, I just looked a little closer to that face on the right and it looks like he has large horns on his head. Check it out:

Interesting!

And here's another face...seems to be a mixture of styles here...wondering which of these are legit?

Rangler, with me it is a work in progress, i read the post on confirmation marks, but dont understand on how to pick the confirmation marks from the distractions.any help would be appreciated.thanks again brent

The face Aztreasure just posted has a very black figure of the "pi" symbol on his left cheek. There's also an "I", "X", and an inverted "V" across his bottom lip. Couldn't those be confirmation marks? Also, I was thinking that the face looks like a bearded Christian person; sort of a "John" figure. Hmmmmmm?

Ahhhhhhhhh, and that devil face on the right, chiseled later, would then make sense; wouldn't it? And I won't mention the smaller face above the devil's.

Thats the face I was posting..Rangler I havnt studied the pic Hardly at all,It was a drive ByShooting soto Speak.
SS i'll have to look closer @ the original image to see what your devil is in there.

Not certain what is meant by confirmation marks . Unless you mean what sign is the one to follow. It seems to me that these larger signs are to get your attention and the smaller ones will tell the tail. Due to the picture quality ( the size we may post ) the smaller things that I've marked may just be my imagination. You be the judge. I saw many other possibles but can't tell if they are real or pixilation from too much enlargement . It is a great picture! Jim

Could this be ancient ? The pointer pulled me in from a long way off . I did a lot of searching and climbing before realizing there was something subtle in the pictures . This picture has been rotated 90 deg. Rt. Jim

Looks like it's pointing at that special cross and stick figures.

Very interesting, many possible interpretations. Here are some arbitrary markups, if I put on my "Spanish" glasses.

Shortstack and Aztreasure Thanks for your comments. I had thought it would be easy for others to see what I see but this is a difficult picture to capture as the light has to be just rite. Perhaps its just my imagination after all. Here is a slightly enlarged version to help out. Jim

Tertiary Jim,
confirmation marks are what is used first to make sure the boulder, cliff face , outcropping is really a monument and not pareidolia or background camo..check the paragraph on Pareidolia wrote in Signs/101
you will probably see something over there as well on confirmation as these two subject are parallel in course.

TJim,

Is this possibly what you are seeing? In red...a person looking at you, with a sheild in the right hand......a staff/spear/or gun in the left hand. In green, a "letter" somewhat like a fancy "Y" followed by other script?

Oddrock
