its IMHO that Pythagoras got the dirrections from fishmen that had been in contact with atlas at atlantis

Funny, but I have yet to see a single humble statement from you.

Could you provide us with a legitimate physicist or mathematician you've run your latest theory past who can coraborate the validity of your discovery? I know you're not here to "prove" yourself to any of us, you've explained numerous times how much contempt and disdain you have for all of us when someone questions you and you've repeatedly exclaimed how you couldn't care less what any of us think - the problem with all those statements is that logic (you like to use that term) dictates that two of those statements by you are false based on your reaction and responses.

Surely you're intelligent enough to know that your "game" has little or no impact on any of us anymore right? One of the reasons many of us come here is for the same reason that so many people tune in to watch WWF - everyone knows it's fake, but it's entertaining and you never know what outrageous thing will happen next.

lol you miss the simple truth . i am toying with you all .. i have the goods and i know it .. and some of you realize i could have found something out there ... lol and you would be correct ....

fake .. you mean its not real ...

are UFO's real ..?

how about locknessy ...?

there is nothing wrong with my under standing of your realitiy..

i am just not willing to be a sheep ...lol

if you want to talk about legends .. i will set and watch ..if you want to watch real discoveries . then you should be respectfull even if you dont under stand what the data is about ...

get real, get some reality in your life before you act like waltz did ...

if you want to talk about legens .. i will set and watch ..if you want to watch real discoveries . then you should be respectfull even if you dont under stand what the data is about ...

Ahhh grasshopper, you see I tried that route when I first got here. If you recall one of the motto's I live my life by...

I don't believe respect has to be earned, I give my respect to EVERYONE when I first meet them. It's up to them whether they keep that respect or not depending on their future actions.

You sir are one of the very very few people I've ever met to abuse that respect and therefore lose it. Not that you care because I know you don't, but understand that I don't either :)

Could you provide us with a legitimate physicist or mathematician you've run your latest theory past who can corraborate the validity of your discovery?

I'm also curious why go through the effort of going to the Superstitions when you can simply talk to Waltz for the directions to his mine, talk to past Atlantean inhabitants and get a map of where it's located? For that matter, if you want to be the center of attention, why not use your talents to find missing children and solve murders - seems like that would be more rewarding than searching for a lost treasure no?

Well, you answered A question with a yes, I'm not sure what the question was because it wasn't mine above.

By the way, the only site Oro suggested you visit was Mensa - check your sources again.

Ahhh, when you said "sites" plural, I assumed you meant the ones I linked. My mistake

most of you wont realize the Atlantis i pionted out is 5000 nm from crete or should i say 5000 Roman arc...?

Any of various units of distance, including the statute mile of 5,280 ft (1.61 km). It originated from the Roman mille passus, or "thousand paces," which measured 5,000 Roman ft (4,840 English ft [1.475 km]). A nautical mile is the length on the Earth's surface of one minute of arc or, by international definition, 1,852 m (6,076.12 ft [1.1508 statute mi]); it remains in universal use in both marine and air transportation. A knot is one nautical mile per hour. See also International System of Units; metric system.
For more information on mile, visit Britannica.com.

it was a funny way of messureing the earth .. 5 x 5000 roman arc , the arc being messured by the moon by night and the sun by day . now where did we see that before .. chicomoztoc codex...? so how did chicomoztoc learn this from atlantis . or is it the other way around ...?

HOLA amigos,

Thom - love that photo, and if they will vouch for you then you are OK in my book. (Yes it comes as a shock to some to find that I really can read a book! :o ::) ;D :D Especially when they have lots of PICTURES! ::) :o ;D :D )

Blindbowman there appears to be some misunderstanding here about what is understood and what is not. Your theory is not so complex as to be incomprehensible, just that some features of it seem to be at odds with what is the accepted theory. You already know that, which is why it needs to be put to the test by physicists (and-or mathematicians) to verify or refute it.

What I find striking and unusual is that you say that you spoke with Pythagoras, and got information concerning Atlantis from him. The sources I know of, say that Plato got the story from Solon (who was old when Plato was a boy) and that Solon got it from Egyptian priests in the city of Sais. A Greek philosopher named Crantor went to Sais and found the story inscribed on columns, but as far as I know, there is no reference to Pythagoras ever having knowledge of Atlantis. I do very much admire Pythagoras and his mathematics is still taught in universities, and especially admire his idea of what "friendship" is. He was half-Phoenician by birth so (in my humble opinion) it is quite conceivable that Pythagoras could have learned of Atlantis through them, since it is apparent in Plato's dialogues that the original source of the story was Phoenicians, not Egyptians. We know that Phoenicians were sailing in the Atlantic centuries before anyone else too. Anyway just thought that was quite interesting that you said Pythagoras told you about Atlantis.

This is a most striking thing for you to say amigo, since I have asked you several times to try to put yourself in our place, to read the words of someone saying the most extraordinary things, and how would you react? Wouldn't you have doubts, want to question the person more, find out if they are just pulling your leg? As you have no trouble putting yourself in Waltz's shoes, or Montezuma or Pythagoras, why not try looking at things from our point of view and see if you would not also question the statements?

May I give you an example? Suppose I were to tell you (and everyone here) that I have found the cure for cancer, all cancers, and it is something quite simple and yet so complex that no one could ever grasp it. Wouldn't you have doubts that what I just said is true, want to see some kind of solid proof, and want to question me? (I was kidding of course I have not made any such discovery.)

Blindbowman I fail to see the reason(s) for your openly declared wish for your readers here NOT to find the treasures that they seek. It is the kind of statement a bitter man might make, after having failed to find what he sought. I hope you will change your mind on that amigo. I sure have no such desires to see my friends and fellow treasure hunters FAIL. I get (almost) as big a kick out of it when someone else finds some treasure, as if I found it myself. (Even SWR, who probably does not feel the same way toward me! ;D)

Good luck and good hunting to you all, I hope you find the treasures that you seek.your friend,
Oroblanco

so you want proff , are you greedy Oro ,....wanting ..

becarefull , the keeper of the "keys to the kingdom" could hear you .....

if i gave you proff you would only want more and more ...

are you going to tell me this is not true ...?

Your idea of proof and other's ideas are not the same I'm sure.

That said, your comment has merit because it's simply human nature to want more - call it greed if you want, but it applies to reading, exploring, investigating etc... - those are all ways for people to "seek more."

I think it's an interesting philosophical discussion to talk about what's required to truly PROVE something. I think I've seen other threads about that subject on this forum, but perhaps we can talk about it here too? I have lots of thoughts, but too much RL work to do today to get into it. If there's an interest I might start a new thread tonight.

BB,
No one in the long history of this t-net forum has ever claimed to find so much and offered so little proof as you have, you are in a class
and a world by yourself, but you do make me laugh and I sure do need a laugh.
