I’m still alive ,thanks to everyone for your concern . CanadianTrout you guessed right, Spring is when I normally get out to my site and get any work done. In the winter I try to spend time in southern Arizona poking around in the desert where its warm.

Smee you could be right, I agree that tree in replay 301 could be a Ute prayer tree I’ve seen what is supposed to be a real prayer tree and they do look very similar.

Ashleysflyr, I appreciate your dedication in keeping up with my story, It actually means a lot to me to know that a few people out there are enjoying my Treasure hunt. So Ill promise everyone this, I WILL keep everyone informed what is happening with my site, while I’m looking, Ill tell everyone what I see and what I’m doing, If I find something I will TRY and let everyone know as much as I can [ I plan on doing everything legally , I have to much to lose to do otherwise ] And If for some reason I cant continue the search, Ill let everyone know I’m done and its over. In other words I wont just disappear.

Lahoop, thank you for your opinion, everyone’s ideas are valuable to me. As soon as I can find them , I will post a few pictures of the rock that has the Z on it, and show it from different views.

YAAAAAAA TLH my man, good to hear from ya bro!! Glad you checked in and this wasn't a dead thread. As I mention a long time ago this is one of the most interesting and wells structured treasure/mine hunting threads on here. Hope to hear more as spring rolls around. I'll keep checking!

Whatcha doing in AZ? Similiar things? Anything you can discuss here or post pics etc?

Anyways glad to hear from ya and stay safe.

Cya!

Thanks Trout you made my day. Arizona is one of the places I go sometimes to get out of the cold, I do a little prospecting ,and a little metal detecting . I haven’t found anything that looked like a Spanish site yet, but I do see things that look like they might be Spanish signs. See picture # 1.

Here’s some more pictures of the rock that looks like it has a Z on it . I’ve always thought there was something carved into the rock but I’ve never been able to tell what if anything is really there.

The rock looks like the top has been flattened, maybe for the purpose of carving something into it . When the sun hits it just right it looks like there are forms there that resemble some of the land forms that are on my Topo of the area. The pictures your looking at were all taken with a telephoto lens from 100 yds away or more, I’m not about to climb up there anytime soon . The rock points across the way to the big rock that has the stack of little turtle rocks on top of it.

But one day I may grow a pair and climb up on top of the big rock that the Z rock is on, there’s a lot of things going on up there ,and the signs say to “climb up” but the height and the thought of death traps have always kept my feet on the ground.

TLH,

Good to see you're back and OK my friend.

In your bottom photo... at 9:00 from your marked square is a turtles head.

I don't believe this to be a natural one,

Did you have fun in AZ?

Thom

Again bottom photo, just below right side of bottom red line: Is that a heart on it's side pointing right? Which would be the same way the "z" rock is pointing right?

OOOHHHHHHH...I Like #1!!!! That one would send me climbing!

I didn’t know that the Arizona skylite would be so interesting , I wish that I had taken more pictures of it from different angles and distances than I did. Here’s a couple more shots. Old Dog and Trout, I’m going to post a few more pictures of what you say your seeing close to the Z rock ,hopefully Ill get them up tonight.

This ridge would provide a very easy access to that window.

There is a second window in there as wellto the left of the big one.

TLH
Awesome pix , looks like you spent your winter in a great place.

That window is whats known as Aguila ojo , or to us gringos Eagles Eye , it is off of interstate 10East of Quartzite a ways , about 14 miles east of the 60 cut off to Wickenburg , take the jeep trail around and behind it
Lots of old mines in the area ;), some are still being worked so be careful ;)

Old Dog here’s a few more pictures of the area where you see a turtle head. I’m not sure if this is what you see or not , but I think that there is a whole turtle up there, In fact that turtle is one of the things that points to the turtle in reply # 205 . His head points in the general direction of the other turtle and there is a sighting devise on top of his head that points more accurately . See photo # 4

Trout , I ran out of time tonight, so I will try and get some pictures up for you tomorrow .

MesaBuddy, your location description sure sounds like where I was. at, I could tell buy all the activity in the area that I was probably not the first gringo to spot that hole. Do you happen to know if its man made or natural ?

TLH<

Yes sir, That's the one.

I thought I was seeing something wierd as the front leg looked like a deformed bottom jaw foe a minute.

glad you saw it too.
Thom

Sorry it took me so long to respond Trout, But heres a few pictures of the little heart. # 1 shows that the little heart has morphed into a pointer pointing in a different direction . Below the little heart is what looks to me like a weed hook symbol that Charles Kenworthy had in his book “ Treasure Secrets of the Lost Dutchman “

# 3 picture shows how the little heart and the Z rock both point to the little turtles across the way. All of this is conjecture on my part, if anyone has a different point of view I would be more than happy to hear it.

Very interesting hunt you have. I can't wait to hear the end of the story. Your pictures are great. I am glad that you have posted them for all of us to view.

Thank you dakotama95, that’s very kind of you to say, and I appreciate it. I cant wait to hear the end of the story either , and if it were up to me I would fast forward to the end and let everyone know what signs are real, and what they all mean . But unfortunately because of the weather in the Colorado mountains only allowing me a very short Treasure Hunting season, I am doomed to spend most of my time looking at pictures of various rocks on the computer , and making plans for the next Summer. And like everyone else I have more to do every Summer than to tramp around in the mountains looking for what may be a hopeless dream. So it looks like its going to be awhile before we all know how this Treasure Story ends .

TLH,

Unfortunately this year may be shorter than others.
The weather fluctuations are going to shorten that summer for you.

They already have for us over here.
About the time it dries out enough to go out ,
it clabbers up and drops another bucket or two of "partly cloudy" on us.

But this will pass.
Good hunting when it clears up Buddy.

I noticed a carving of a coiled snake as well as another critter crawling up the face of the rock.
